Works well and is convenient!
I have been using colored pencils which I like clean and sharp. Although I often use a pencil sharpener this takes care of the clean. They stay together are a convenient size and are a of good quality material. I keep one next to my work area and can use it with one hand.

Works really nice
Perfect for those pencils when a sharpener doesn't work quite right. I can get my pencil lead super sharp with this and it lasts a long time.

I love these for sharpening my pencils when I done quite need to use the electric pencil sharpener.

It's sandpaper on a flat piece of what appears to be wood but I think it's compressed cardboard
The grade of the paper should be a little bit finer, as it is probably better for sanding wood than sharpening a piece of lead. For the money it's a good deal.

Sharpens Metallic Pencils
I bought this so that I could sharpen different pencils that I found were not really able to sharpen well with a traditional pencil sharpener. Those are the metallic pencils. This thing sharpens them up with just a few rubs back-and-forth and is easy to store and carry around!

Great for shading
This is great for needing loose charcoal

Great value, great product
Really a great product for working with pastels, both firm and soft, as well as charcoals. Blending sticks pick up all the colors you are using and these are, sort of like erasers for those blending sticks. For the price, very worth the buy. I have found myself going through a lot but it's much cheaper than going to an art shop to buy them and they work wekk
