Great for camping
Good quality and works well with the telescope poles that I bought! Spikes are sturdy and ropes are coated for endurance.

Eyelets rusting.
Used this as a moisture barrier for my camping tent. Worked fine but the eyelets are rusting after first use.

Perfect Basic Lightweight Small Tarp
I recently used it to keep our camp kitchen area dry. It did exactly that.

tarp vs this ... depends
I have been a tarp guy for a long time. If you don't need the cover of a tent a good tarp keeps the ground off our sleeping bags and has 1000 uses in other scenarios. But My kids like the tents and I like a liner underneath. Tent floors are kind a thin so another layer is always a good thing. The good:It folds up pretty easily in a VERY small space. Much smaller than any tarp can fold. Its very light weightIt's not very likely to come apart at the key points (Edges and where the Grommets attach.) They did a good job on these. It's water proof, I don't see anything liquid beyond some normal condensation getting through thisFor what it's designed for it should workYou could use it to cover something you want to keep drythe Hmm I am not sure thoughtsIt's thin. Very thin. On grass this would be fine, on dirt depends on the size of pebbles and such. I've not field tested it yet, but it's not near as durable as a tarp. That may limit it's versatility. With a tarp I may put something on it and drag the tarp, with this it's only a liner between the tent and the ground. That's not bad, just what it is.Overall, if you only need it for what it's designed to do, you will like it. Will it hold over time? I think again depends on terrain. My kids in a tent can be monsters on the tent and everything around or under it. So I'm skeptical on how long it will last. but I love that I can stick it in their packs and they can carry it. It's better than a tarp for size and weight. So if that's more important than versatility then you are good to go with this.In the right scenarios for use and terrain it's spot on.

Very Nice – Definitely Ultralight
And extremely versatile tent footprint that easily lends itself to multiple campsite uses. Well-hemmed edges keep it from fraying. Corner straps and grommets allow it to be staked down as a ground cover, but those grommets can just as easily be used to attach guy lines if you decide to suspend it overhead as a rain cover. Much thinner and lighter than a tarp, but still very, very useful.

Light weight yet durable.
I use to use tarps but I like this much better, the feel is nicer and looks better. It comes in a convenient pouch and folds back up nicely without getting that crackling wrinkled look like tarps do. I’d recommend it for camping.
