CTA Sure Shot Rifle (Wii)

This is, overall, an awesome product.It is solidly built and, generally, a joy to hold and use. I bought it for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex and Call of Duty: World at War. The Wii-remote and nunchuk fit neatly into the body and grip of the gun. Other comments about the nunchuk not fitting snugly are probably based on positioning of the nunchuk cable and, with a bit of care and attention, this is easily fixed. In an adult's hands, the thumb can easily reach the nunchuk joystick without the 'dislocated' feeling you might get with other products. Of course, the big advantage of the Sure Shot is that the 'B' trigger is moved to an actual trigger by the grip, instead of the slightly awkward bullpup layout of, say, the Wii Zapper. The removable stock is useful for posture and stance for long periods of gameplay but I found that the removable barrel obscured parts of the screen during gameplay use so I removed it.Be aware that using the iron sights on the Sure Shot is generally NOT accurate but this is expected because it is NOT A LIGHT GUN: like every other gun shell accessory for the Wii it just houses the wii-remote in the gun and it uses this to position your cross hairs via the SENSOR BAR (which guesses how big your TV is based on how far away you are standing). The positioning of the 'C' and 'Z' buttons on either side of the gun body is certainly an advantage over other gun shell accessories but they're fitted quite far back so that, if you're playing a game that utilises practically every button on the Wii-remote and nunchuk (Like Call of Duty), you frequently find yourself moving your hand back and forth along the gun shell between the Wii-remote and the 'C' and 'Z' buttons. This can be awkward and detracts from gameplay.For simple shooters like House of the Dead and Ghost Squad it is a perfect product but some may get frustrated with the positioning of the 'C' and 'Z' buttons for games with more complex button layouts like Call of Duty. However, this is a minor issue and it is otherwise probably the best rifle accessory for the Wii on the market right now.

This is a good rifle for the wii it works with most games but not all. Still very pleased with it.Good delivery time and fair price.

great christmas present my husband love's this game although the sure shot rifle takes a bit of getting use to.

This is a awsome gun for the wii fits my new motion plus inside wii remote fine, the nunchuck compartment doesnt shut fully but doesnt affect the use atallit looks/works fine without the stick atachment on front of which i cant see any use.Works for my games - house of the dead and overkill,ghost squad and resident evil chroniclesGreat buy, get this one

Having purchased a previous cheaper gun that turned out to be too good to be true, and it proved to be. I thought this would be excellent, but did not get my hopes up.However this gun proved to be excellent and I echo the previous reviews of this product.Excellent delivery and definatly worth the money.

Really good product which gives you a whole bunch of gun type options for great comfort and seemed pretty accurate for all the games I play making everything seem pretty realistic, well as much as you can get with a plastic gun. Highly recommended!!
