I really wanted these to work for my lil’ guys (a 4 and 6yr old). The quality is great, the characters are cute and soft, the colors are vibrant. Well made item that I wanted to love but, they were just not sturdy enough for my kids to actually be able to learn on them. The two sticks were awkwardly slipping against each other and my kids could not grasp a piece of food bc there was no tension to make the sticks grip the food. Kind of hard for me to explain but, hopefully you get the picture. The cute characters at the top have holes on bottoms of their feet and the sticks are attached there (removable) but, they do not attach firmly so the kids could not get a good grip and the sticks clumsily slipped all over each other rather than pressing firmly against each other to allow a firm hold when grabbing the food. I really wanted these to work because of the great quality, price and character design but, it just didn’t work out. I returned the item today and was already given an advance refund (since ups had already scanned my package label) so, customer service is not an issue. If they come out with a more user friendly design for the younger age kids I would definitely buy from this company again.

Can use with or without assister at end, silicone assister easy to clean and fits reg chop sticks also,best gift ever for chopstick training young or old can use

My kids have no problem using training chopsticks with finger rings so I bought these as an alternative. Surprisingly these are easier to use than expected. The sticks are sturdy and in good quality.

I bought these for my 3yr old nephew to practice but the sticks are too longth for his little hands. Perhaps a shorter length would be easier.
