Review: I swapped out a mini cheap 500k pot in one of my guitars for this CTS 1meg pot cuz the pickup sounds good but a little dark. Before swapping the pickup for another one I figured I’d try this since it’ll add some more crispness and bite to it. This is a much cheaper alternative than buying a new pickup which I like the pickup now but just needs a touch more brightness and this should do the trick. Although this pot is pretty expensive it’s worth it for the quality of it compared to cheap Chinese ones they usually install in guitars. Has a nice smooth turn and big lugs to make it easier to solder wires to and bend one up to the back of the pot to ground it. Also nice it comes with an extra nut to be able to raise/lower the shaft if you need to. Definitely recommend grabbing a CTS pot or pots to upgrade your cheap mini ones that come stock with your guitars. One of the best upgrades to do to a guitar if it doesn’t already have good pots and wiring. Review: It’s a really good option for a guitar upgrade with a much clear more higher toned sound. It’s working great with distortion, a real game changer

Using them in my Epiphone Firebird Studio. The pickups were lacking and I knew a 1MEG pot would rock them out. I even went crazier and strung it up with 9.5 strings and it has a killer tone(subjective to ones opinion). You know how you want your gear to sound. If you’re not getting the vibe you want out of your humbuckers, you have nothing to lose spending 9$ on a pot. Have fun.
