Works For My Intended Use
I wired my diesel fuel transfer pump to this unit and it works flawlessly.Definitely a lot easier than messing with a battery.

Is what it is and does what it claims.

Pretty decent.
I used for the electrolysis of potassium chloride to potassium chloride. I ran it nonstop drawing an average of 20-23 amps for 6 months strait only turning it of every couple of weeks or so for maybe 30 minutes at a time to harvest chloride and prepare another saturated chloride solution. It was still running when I dismantled the cell for storage. Very impressive. It was also in a very corrosive environment being directly adjacent to a chloride cell.

Most I could get was 11.81 volts
The most I could get was 11.8 volts within an input of 124.6 volts. The specs call for a max of 13.2 volts. The adjustable pot only gave me a range of 10.7 to 11.7 volts - not much adjustment. The "thermostatically" controlled fan is always on even when first plugged in although "NOTICE: This power supply is built-in fan on/off control circuit. fan automatically works according to working temperature" (sic) is embossed right into the case near the fan outlet.I got this to power a ham radio but it's only enough power to receive and transmit on low. When the mic is keyed on medium and high power (25 watts) the radio will only transmit long enough to break squelch then stop transmitting. And last but not least this power supply does create a bit of RF interference. If there is one good thing I could say is that it arrived without dents but that's only because it was ordered with other items and as such was shipped in a box and not a padded envelope. All in all a big disappointment for me. I'll order a proper power supply now like I should have done in the first place. My bad

Hard to beat for the money
These little power supplies are everywhere these days, but they are not all the same. These are super quiet, cool and are pretty consistent voltage wise.No fault of Amazon but one of the edges did get bent in shipping, I just simply bent it back and it's good as new.Pro: Super affordable power supply in a small package.Con: Highly unlikely to work at a usable duty cycle at full draw. I ordered a 30amp, used with a Anytone quad six and had no problems at all(that radio draws around 20 amps at full output. In conclusion, these are great little juice boxes for the money, just buy the next highest rated unit than what you would normally need.

Good quality power supply BUT NOT FOR A FULL ADDRESSABLE LED SYSTEM
The power supply works however its misleading if you think your going to power a full virtual pinball machine addressble LED setup with a matrix etc. The problem here is the amps. The 5volts is perfect, especially for the addressble LED strips they are talking about. However, if your building a setup for your virtualpinball machine, you need a power supply with more amperage. A quick way to figure out how much you need is just count the amount of LEDs in your entire system and multiply it by .06. If your using the proper LED strips for the two side tracks that run up and down the sides of the playfield you should have the strips that have 144leds each. A normal matrix has (8 x 32)256leds and thats if you only want a small centered matrix. To have a matrix which goes from one end to the other of the back of your table you'll need approximately 22-23inches. Usually that requires adding two 8 x 8 (64leds) square matrix add ons.If that was your setup , you count the total leds and multiply it by .06 and you'll need a power supply that is putting out approximately 40amps. I have 4 speaker rings with 96leds each and was trying to use this power supply to run them. Until I did more research and used that simple math equation I couldn't get them to work. Now I got one that's 5volts AND also the correct amps. I hope that helps some of you who are buying a power supply for a virtualpinball addressble led setup.

Does the job well
I bought this power supply to supplement the 12 volt supply for my 3D printer. it is tied to the pre-switched AC side of the circuit, just after the fused power switch/inlet. The primary purpose of the unit is to power the Raspberry Pi hosting Octoprint. The Pi + night vision camera really suck a lot of power that no combination of USB cable/wall wart could supply. The unit itself is tiny and after some planning, I chose to mount it under the bed. I ended up designing and printing a bracket to side mount it to the V-slot extrusion of the printer frame. The flap over the screw terminals does a decent job of protecting your hands from accidentally getting shocked, although a piece of electrical tape might help if you're still worried. It has an adjustment pot on the side of the terminals that I used to tune it to 5.1 V which the Pi seems happy with. It also has a little green LED indicating it is energized. Being passively cooled, I was worried it might heat up but I can confirm it stays cool to the touch regardless of what the Pi does.Overall, for about $10, I think it finally solves an issue I've been dealing with for ages with OP. It also gives a bit of headroom if I want to add other 5v accessories like a set of LEDs.

Concerned about fan
The fan comes on immediately when unit is started. Don't know if that is supposed to happen unless overheated

good customer service over came a problem
The initial product did not meet specifications. Based upon a negative review, the manufacturer contacted me and quickly sent a 2nd replacement unit which worked well. Not everything you buy is going to be 100% we all know that ... that's the way life is, but this manufacturer went the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. This is the kind of service we all like and appreciate. I would buy here again.
