Compact True HEPA 4-in-1 Air Purifier, White

I absolutely love this purifier! I just moved into a basement apartment, and it is in an old brick house that was built in the 50's. The house is clean and well taken care of, however with any older basement it can smell a bit musty. Also, being in the middle of winter with snow and rain, and cold temperatures, the air has a musty mildew kind of smell to it. I don't suffer from allergies, but I also wanted to make sure I wasn't breathing in anything that might be irritating.Upon receiving the purifier, I opened up the bottom and removed the plastic lining that is around the filter. After that, it was simply a matter of plugging it in and turning it on. I set it to the second highest setting and went out to dinner. When I came back home there was a huge difference in how the air smelled in my bedroom! When I opened my door, I could immediately tell that it was cleaner and more fresh. My room is 15X15, and this has no issues purifying the whole area. My room mate came in a few days later and opened my door, and now he is going to buy one as well. I honestly didn't think it would be something I would physically noticed, but the difference between the air in my room and the air just outside is very noticeable.The only bummer is that the blue light is always on with the higher fan modes. I wouldn't mind running it on the 1st or 2nd speed while I was sleeping, but the light is very bright. I suppose you could tape over it if you would like, but its a bit annoying. That being said, there is a very quite sleep mode that has no lights, and you can barely tell that the unit is on. I love that you can set a timer for how long you want the fan to run (2, 4, and 8 hours) and that there are multiple levels of fan to choose from (1-3) Level 1 is relatively quiet, and I can have it on in the room without much distraction. Level three on the other hand is extremely loud, and you can definitely feel the air being pushed out. I will occasionally throw on a 4-8 hour timer with a level three fan when i go to work, and when I get home the air is fresh and clean.All in all, an incredible purchase. If I had a ton of rooms I would buy more of these, and as it is my room mate will be buying one for himself. You won't be disappointed!

First of all, I have to state that I always do tons of research before I buy a product. After looking at 5 Youtube videos, and browsing through countless air purifiers, I decided to settle down on this RevitalAir True HEPA 4-in-1 Air Purifier, and I absolutely LOVE it! For the price point and how good-looking, and functional it is, it cannot be beaten.I bought this since I live in an old apartment with a smell in which I can't get rid of. After leaving this unit on in my bedroom for an hour on level 3, I immediately noticed a difference...the air smelled FRESH!! Not to mention how easy it was to place the filter--it's basically a cone. Just unwrap the plastic before using it, and put it back-voila! It's ready! (One-second assembly)One downside I would say is that it's pretty loud when you turn it on the level 3, but that isn't an issue since I just close my bedroom door and I don't hear it in the living room. Just let it do work until I get in and turn it on to level 2 or 1. Level 2 is basically white noise, and at level 1 you literally can't hear anything.Now I basically leave it on every day before I got to sleep--oh, and it's sleep-friendly since there is a sleeping mode which turns ALL the lights off! This is a big plus for people who cannot sleep with any blue lights on. So if you're like me looking to getting your first air purifier, I would recommend starting with this RevitaAir Unit, it is everything you need!

Effective air filter with the added benefit of a UV lamp. We noticed a difference right away with this filter. It has a good seal and lots of entry points for the air flow. It sits handsomely on the floor, or it is small enough to be on a table. It has a steady air flow that, at the lowest speed, is barely audible. Sleep timers are a nice touch. It also has a sleep mode that turns off the operating lights and slows the fan down to the lowest speed. Knocked it one star only because the sleep mode seems to be limited to only the lowest fan speed. But would be better if you could use the higher fan speeds and still have the operating lights off. The main blue operating light could stand to be a lot smaller. It really does fill a room with a blue light, so the sleep mode is a nice thought. Replacement filters are reasonably priced. Overall, a very good filter.

I'll update if things change. #1: Open unit and remove plastic from filter or it makes noise but no air movement. Should say this in big bold letters for people who don't like to read instructions unless necessary.It really helped with nasal congestion and breathing on high, in just an hour, impressive. I have moderate allergies, especially dust mites.The noise is not too bad, definitely drowns out loud TV in other room though. Left the room and immediately noticed the difference in air quality. Sleep mode puts out the light which you could almost read by, it also, cuts the fan to a really slow rate and nearly unnoticable noise level. Wish it allowed you to have fan on high without light for those of us who can sleep with the noise. Replacement filters are inexpensive $25 for a two pack of HEPA 13 with charcoal prefilter. Works way better than normal HEPA (HEPA 11) which I had in the room before, though it was so old I could not get replacement filters anymore. Not sure how it works on odors as I don't have any odors in the bedroom.
