Personally I have to leave the room whenever this is on, I find it unbearable in every way. However, the kids love it and keeps them quiet for a bit, so its a winner for me too!

Great fun for all the family
Bought this for my son aged 8 and daughter aged 6. They both loved the movies which they now play on loop. They know all the song word and dance moves of by heart. Great buy for family movie night.

My children really enjoy these films and the sound tracks. The acting is awful, the story predictable but the songs are catchy and it keeps the kids (8 & 10) quiet!

Descendants, eine Gute-Laune Produktion mit toller Mischung aus Musik, Spaß und Emotionen
Es ist nicht üblich, dass ein Mann mit 25 Jahren offen gesteht, großer Disney-Fan zu sein. Neben den Klassikern wie "König der Löwen" und "Das Dschungelbuch", finde ich auch großen Spaß an den neuen Disneyfilmen wie "Die Eiskönigin" oder "Maleficent". Seit etwa 1,5 Jahren schaue ich auch einige Serien auf dem Disney Channel. Dazu gehören "Hund mit Blog" "Meine schwester Charlie" und ganz besonders "Liv und Maddie". Ich liebe einfach die Mischung aus Witz und Emotionen die aus dem stressigen Altag reißen. Dove Cameron, die Hauptdarstellerin aus Liv und Maddie, ist auch mit der Hauptgrund, weshalb ich mich für "Descendant" interessierte bzw. Darauf aufmerksam wurde. Sie hat eine so unfassbar positive Austrahlung, dass ich selbst an schlechten Tagen gute Laune bekomme, wenn ich sie sehe. Mal ganz davon abgesehn, dass die nun fast 20 jährige Schauspielerin eine der hübschesten Frauen überhaupt im Filmgeschäft ist, singt Sie hervorragend und macht ihren Job super. Die tolle Idee mit den Nachkommen der Bösewichte fand ich super, weshalb mein Interesse immer größer wurde. Der Film: "Descendants" ist manchmal recht düster, in der darauffolgenden Szene allerdings um zu bunter. Der Film greift einige Teenagerthemen auf, vergisst dabei aber nie die Hauptstory, sondern verbindet die einzelnen Storylines und rundet damit das Gesamtbild ab. Ich musste einige Male lachen, da mich die Witze stark an die Disney Serien erinnerten. Die Schauspieler dürften für Disneykenner überwiegend bekannt sein, machen ihren Job solide und passen ziemlich gut in die märchenhafte Welt. Die Kostüme wirken manchmal ein wenig künstlich, was mich allerdings wenig störte. Songs: Vom Ohrwurm bis hin zu emotionalen Liebesliedern bekommt der Zuschauer einiges geboten. Nicht alle Songs konnten überzeugen, wirklich schlecht war aber keiner. Fazit: "Descendants" ist ein schöner Disneyfilm mit einer tollen Idee, sympathischen Schauspielern und einem sehr guten Soundtrack mit vielen guten Liedern. Es gibt viel Kitsch, einige Lacher und eine tolle Atmosphäre. Natürlich haben wir hier keine 100 Millionen Produktion, doch wer brauch das schon? Disney hat einen eigenen, besonderen Zauber der in jeder Produktion zu spüren ist: Magisch :)

DISAPPOINTING!
This product had “regional restrictions” and since it came from the UK it was unable to play here in Canada. The seller told me I could return it but the shipping and handling back to the UK was going to cost me more than I paid for the CDs. NOT cool!
