Just tried out this chef's knife, and wow, it's quite impressive! The blade is sharp, making chopping and slicing super easy. The long handle is comfy, so you can use it for ages. I decided to try this product based on the product description and need for a quality knife decently priced. Knife arrived in nice packaging if you ever wanted to give as a gift, but I ordered for immediate use. First impression was one of durability and feeling very solid/rigid in my hand which is very important to me from a safety standpoint. I'm not an ergonomic knife handle expert, but I know when something feels right in my hands and this knife gave me that feeling. While this knife is nice looking, it's functionality adds substance to it's good looks. When I used it on chicken it sliced effortlessly and cleanly. Not sure if you have to handwash, but I put it in the top shelf of my dishwasher and it came out just as shiny/clean as when I first received it. Nice looking, but more importantly, works great!
