Great addition to any rain chain.
I love my rain chain, and having this basin at the bottom, spilling over into a little fountain I created with some lotus flowers makes for a lovely water feature.

These are so beautiful on the side of the house. We live in Florida and it rains everyday. I love watching in these catcher. Its very peaceful.

Looks great, sturdy, no drainage
Bigger than I realized, which is great. Not especially heavy so we added some rocks to weight it down a bit more. Looks beautiful. Less one star bc there is no drainage and the water sits in there until I dump it. Mosquito season so I am sure to dump it right away. Hubby may drill a couple small holes, just concerned it could rust.

Perfect piece!
This works so well! We replaced a gutter for a rain chain in front of our house. It’s so relaxing to watch and love that this plate holds it in place.

Worth keeping, and now my sister wants one
I originally bought this with a rain chain and then realize I didn't have a gutter to attach the rain chain and ended up keeping the bowl. I keep it in the corner where most of the water accumulates when it rains and it spills out onto a rock bed, which works out amazing because it keeps my patio dry

It leaks!
Not as heavy as I expected so I had to put a couple rocks in it. Attached it to my rain chain and it looks great. The water goes down the chain and out the spout which is directed off our deck. HOWEVER, with the whole point of getting this particular Anchoring basin was to have the water pore off the edge of the deck, it is very disappointing to find that the anchor in the center of the bowl leaks. The anchor is connected through the bottom of the basin and has a plastic cap but no washer. To make matters worse 1) I did not keep the packaging and 2) I ordered a second one and will probably return it. It's a lot of money for poor construction.
