Works well, takes a bit of time to get installed correctly
Features, likes and dislikes:These Monstrum scope rings are surely a very unique design. This is my first time mounting a leveler onto a rifle so it took some work. First I made sure the rifle is perfectly level with a regular leveler, then while attaching my scope to the rifle, I slowly adjusted these rings to level. The bubbles on these are tiny, and takes a bit more time for the bubbles to move into place, but at the same time they're also very sensitive so just a tiny bit of movement will cause the. bubble to go crazy. It took a bit of time for me to get them perfectly leveled.Really like the result, the high profile in these rings really helps to prop my 6-24x50 scopes up so it doesn't get so close to the rifle itself.Quality:The rings are great quality, the bubbles are readable, just very small and too sensitive.Price:$24.99 for the pair.

A very clever & eclectic mount system. Good news: lots of options. Dot mount seems vulnerable.
First, the core scope mount is very well-made and beefy. The mount base has hard recoil stops and the fasteners are Torx and 1st rate. It is natively for 30mm scopes and includes plastic inserts to neck down for a 1" scope tube (common and more than fine). The diagonal slash cut of the scope clamps appears frequently on freakishly expensive high-end scope mounts. There, it is a styling differentiation (my opinion). Here, it is employed to enable mounting options for the included fold-out level and cantilevered 45deg pic rail. There are a lot of options here. The pic rail (presumably for a red-dot) can be mounted down at the base (basically projecting from the rail clamp), or at the side of the tube clamp. There are a lot of options here. In my case, I have two builds I am trying it on and still have not settled on an arrangement. On the one, the scope's windage turret blocks the dot in the low mount, and the high mount puts the dot too far out. On the other, the fact that I got the medium-profile mount leaves the scope bell a hair's breadth from the rail.My only con, and it is purely impression: I think hard-use scenarios are unrealistic in civilian life, but I think the dot mount's arm seems a bit vulnerable.

Odd appearance that is sort of appealing.
I’ve had both good and bad luck with Monstrum products, so I was a bit apprehensive about these rings.First, the good. Very well made, at least on the level of WestHunter who seems to be the leader in decently built rings from China. Cleanly machined, well finished, plus the inclusion of the spacer to accommodate either 1” or 30mm scopes is a great touch. I very much like the idea of having an insert for 1” scopes, as there is no fear of marring the finish. So, odd asymmetry aside (which is kind of attractive in a weird way), these are good to go.Now the bad. That same asymmetrical design is meant to allow for the mounting of the fold out bubble level. Yeah, no. Sorry to say, it is almost completely useless because of the ridiculously small size. There are other rings on the market with a far more practical level included, one that is far more visible.. This smacks of a design novelty just “because”. It is made well, but the concept doesn’t really provide good performance, it’s just too darn tiny. The red dot base isn’t bad, it is certainly solid enough and seems to align fairly well. I can’t complain about the engineering there, but with this many things going on I am left wondering where’s the bottle opener? If Monstrum makes a more conventional set of rings built to this level of precision, I’m in. As for these particular rings, well you might want these “extra” features and you are getting them for a very good price, so if “busy” is your thing you are all set.

Scope rings
If it's monstrum just buy it. I've actually grown to really like this new monstrum brand that's came out and I pretty much buy up everything that I see has the monstrum brand on it now. Everything that I've got from these guys has been very well machined, very high quality, feel very premium in the hand, and the craftsmanship on these things are top-notch, and they even have the cherries on top with all the levels and everything else that you can pretty much ask for and just about any piece that you get from them. This thing is definitely no exception and these rings are super top notch machined. Not only that they come with a picatinny rail on the side that you can opt to either use or not use and it even comes with a very high quality small and easy to see level. I actually have a very good dual set of rings one of the first things that I got from them on one of my biggest caliber rifles but I wanted extra pair for my Ruger 10/22 that's all decked out and Magpul furniture that has my three to nine by 40 scope on it and I just have some Cheapo rings on it but I wanted some really solid ones and because I'm pretty much d****** everything else I have out in monstrum and Magpul I figured these would be a perfect buy and they were pretty much everything I was hoping for. These things are arrived on time and well packaged with everything you need in order to get them installed and just a few minutes on whatever you need and they clamp down super great on any scope and not only that they even have the shims to boot. Overall I super highly recommend anything by monstrum because it is literally very premium for an entry level type of new affordable premium type brand that is kind of new to the game. 100% recommend everything by monstrum. They haven't let me down yet and I will continue to be a customer of them as long as I keep putting out high quality top-notch products at a very affordable price.

Side red dot mount is very far out
So the mount is modular, which is cool. Pick which pieces you want to attach and it'll mount up. But the mounting points, especially for the red dot side mount leave me questioning how robust they are if banged around in a competition. So I'd be careful with that one. (Yet another mount for a red dot that I'm not happy with). Otherwise, the bubble level is awesome and the rings are great. I'm very happy with Monstrum mounts for the price. I have too many of them to count at this point.
