The grip was peeling on the front and back of my elite controller so I replaced the faceplate and the bottom shell with eXtremeRate replacements, and they fit perfectly. The bottoms shell feels good, almost as soft as the soft touch faceplate. everything fit inside perfectly. I used most of the original internal parts, keeping the replacement parts as spares, so I can't rate the magnets, however they seem strong and were in perfect condition on arrival. Great quality, would recommend.

Worked out great and they have a video online that shows how to assemble everything properly. It’s a cool way to customize your Xbox elite controller. The only recommendation I would make when assembling would be to install the back paddle PCV before installing the magnets under the battery. The reason for that is because the magnet kept pulling the tiny screw away from the PCV which was a little frustrating.

The back is actually better than the garbage rubber grip factory one. My grips were peeling off (which you can see in the pic the front is also) so I picked this up to replace the back plate. Fit was perfect and the kit came with easy and straight forward instructions. It also came with the special Torx screw drivers and pry stick, as well as extra screws and parts in case you lose some.If yours doesn’t fit perfect then you most definitely put something together wrong unless yours is defective. I liked it enough that I just ordered the faceplate as well to swap out the front rubber parts too. (Update in latest pics)I don’t leave reviews often but this saved me from having to waste another $250 plus on like my 6th elite controller. A+ from me.

This is a great shell, and the instructional video on youtube is very clear and easy to follow; however, I’m only giving this 4 stars because of some issues with the provided equipment.As I was re-assembling my controller the long magnets simply snapped in two. I wasn’t bending them or anything - they just suddenly snapped when I set them down. Thankfully I was able to use the magnets from the stock shell, but I’d otherwise be SOL.The other issue is that the smallest screwdriver seems to be slightly too large for the paddle PCB board screws. I completely stripped 2 of the 4 screws and am lucky that I didn’t scratch the board when using pliers to get them out.Once complete, the shell seems to be high quality and looks/feels great. Overall, the magnet issue is likely a freak accident, but the screwdrivers should be addressed

I had to replace the shell on my controller when the rubber grips started to peel off. I paired this rear shell with the soft touch front front shell, and the controller feels better than it did originally. Quick and easy replacement, excellent quality.

I purchased the black shell and everything fit well, it was very solid and everything operated smoothly. Decided to mix it up by ordering this red shell replacement and the back paddles just don’t work. The paddles themselves wouldn’t immediately slot in like the black/oem shell and there was a lot of friction keeping the buttons in place when pressed. Needless to say this was a waste of money.

My grips were stretched out of place because I tend to have a heavy grip while gaming. This would have been the third controller in 6 years (not to bad when you think about it), but I was tired of shelling out that much money for an elite controller. The installation video was great and I was done in less than an hour (would have been sooner but my kid kept interrupting me). Looks great and works great.

My pro 2 controller shell was falling apart and peeling. I decided to get the front and back shell, along with ammo casing buttons for a rifle themed controller. The kit came with everything including common breakable mechanism replacement parts for the controller. The controller feels and fits nice with the original hardware. It comes with a few extra hardware pieces in case you mess up. I love the new look and the feel.

Seitdem ich dieses Teil für meinen Controller installiert habe und dabei genau der Anleitung auf YouTube gefolgt bin Disconnected sich mein Controller in regelmäßigen Abständen während des Spiels. Vorher hatte ich überhaupt keine Probleme. Der Kunden Support bat mir auch keine Lösung an und die Qualität der Teile ist sehr schlecht.Die Abmessungen stimmen überhaupt nicht.
