I needed an extension hose for my mobile air conditioning machine to use during this mini heat wave. Tried to source locally from the well known national DIY chains and even a local specialist but no luck in the size I needed. Found this and went ahead with the purchase. My solution may not be as neat or elegant as I’d like but it certainly does the job. Wasn’t sure at first if the thin flexible material would be suitable but it seems durable enough and is holding up well. Although the hose gets quite warm extracting the hot air I can’t feel any air escaping through the hose itself or joints. It’s secured at both ends with a stainless steel hose clamp.

This does exactly what it says on the box. It is actually the lightest PVC over the most minimal wire frame, but it functioned fine. It did amusingly blow itself into its maximum length, and writhed across the room like a wriggly boa constrictor, and was more controlled in a cardboard cover. I was pleased it fitted the prexisting 5 inch diameter end pieces perfectly.

Came on time. Product is quite thin which could have been stated in description. Never the less was a worthwhileostomy purchase.

While the length is ideal, the hose material is so thin the heat from the air in exhaust makes it soften and fall out the exhaust nozzle. I had to chop the original hose into 2 and use that for the air con nozzle and the window vent and only use this for the in between but using jubilee clips to fasten it

Wrong size sent and did not fit. Had to pay £3.10 to return the item. Did not seem of good quality. Guess you get what you pay for.
