I have tried every cat litter under the sun to reduce the smell of “cat” when you come in our house. We have five cats. And I knew this one was the right one for me because:1. It’s lightweight. This is so nice! Huge selling point. I will never lug heavy containers of kitty litter through my house again.2. It’s fast clumping and has minimal dust.3. This was the real seller: one of our friends from out of state paid us a visit. We were talking about our pets and he said, “How many do you have?” I said, “We have five.” He responded, “Really? You can’t tell at all. I don’t smell anything.” And THAT outside opinion is what sold me. He could walk in our small house and not smell the unmistakeable ammonia stench of cat urine. Previously, even though I scooped every day, I could still smell the litter when I would walk inside after work. My mom commented about it after she watched our house while we were on vacation. This is the FIRST time I’ve had any luck with any brand of litter.This is the way to go for multicat households.

I love that cat litter creators are finally starting to combine the best parts of various products. For a long time, I had to choose fragrance-free OR lightweight. Since I have chronic migraine and asthma, I had to go with fragrance-free. NOW, I can have BOTH! It's legit lightweight, and legit no-fragrance.I've noticed no difference with odor of fragrance-free vs scented litter. If you scoop it regularly, no odor. If you don't, there's odor. But with the fragrance-free, at least you don't have weird fake flowery smell up your nose while scooping!The only thing that would make this more awesome, would be to combine the "slide" feature, so it doesn't stick to the sides of the litter box. My fur-ball likes to pee in exactly the same spot, right up against the side of the box every time. So there's always a giant cement blob there, that I have to scrape off. I've used the Slide litter before, and it was fantastic in that respect. The chemists need to get on how to combine that with the lightweight and fragrance-free, and I'll be the happiest cat-mom :-D

We have two cats, one suffers from IBS. Her stools can be watery, smelly and horrid to scoop. This litter was recommended by a pet store employee after we had tried several others and were desperate. This litter was and is wonderful! It clumps firmly and we can scoop without all the tiny bits falling off that happens with other litter. Right after the cat(s) have a bowel movement, there may be some odor but not nearly as bad as with other litters. We scoop at least once per day, replace a cup of litter and have not had to empty and hose out the box in over a month. This litter is GREAT! Best ever and really appreciate the light weight! This is the bucket with the pale green lid. Also, we found that the Royal Canin digestive cat food - both wet and dry has helped our IBS cat tremendously. She has gained to 3.5 lbs and is happy &playful. Her stools are not firm but much fewer large watery ones and the litter turns those into hard clumps. All of these products have made her life and ours so much better!

My experience of this litter is that it has no fragrance whatsoever and does an excellent job of neutralizing any odor from the kitty's waste. This is the first time in my long history of caring for kitties that I have been this satisfied with a litter. I've tried lots of different brands of kitty litters and none of them has performed as well as this lightweight, unscented, charcoal-infused litter.Yes, of course, it tracks. That's what kitty litter does. It's easy enough to sweep it up as part of the routine. I use it with a large covered box, and I am telling you that I really have never been this happy with a brand of litter. My kitty seems to like it, too, judging by his willingness to use the box 100% of the time (he didn't always do that).Just my two cents.

We have a very picky cat and after trying every litter out there this one is in the top 2 (in his opinion).Plus + its unscented (a must for Mr. Fussy)Plus + light weight = easy to scoop and lighter in the trashPlus +/neutral, tracks as much as heavier litterPlus + low dustMinus - None!We use a litter mat that extends out from under the litter box and position our boxes so Mr. Fussy has to step on the mat. It picks up most all the tracked litter. I just shake it outside once a week. Easy Peasy!The other litter he likes is the crystals. It saved his indoor life. He was pooping and peeing all over the house. No accidents since we gave him the 2 boxes- light weight unscented and crystals.
