Kids' Travel Guide to the Parables

We use these with our elementary age children, and we love them. The activities are great, usually require items you have around the house. The lessons and activities are fun and engaging, and the children really seem to enjoy them. They can easily be adapted to various age groups and work well with multi-age groups.

One of my favorite, easy-to-follow children's Bible guides. Because we've moved to a new area & are "church hopping," I bought this to continue my children's bible studies while we look for the right church fit, but I've used these for weeknight K-3 children's groups & they've been a good place to start.

I absolutely love this series of lessons. I use them to teach midweek Bible study for kids. They work better with kids ages 5-10. The lessons are interactive and taught on a kids level. The lessons do not take a lot of prep time; they are easy to understand; a fun to teach. I love using my prime membership to get my purchase in 2 days as well.

I love this curriculum! It takes little preparstion, keeps the kids engaged, and is just plain fun! The kids love putting into action what they learn. I copied the front page of the book and had the kids put together the work page each week to create a journal to take home at the end of our journey? We made handpainted backpacks, water bottle holders and hats for our travels. I plan to purchase another Travel Guide.

this is a great resource for kids not churched. The lesson plans are well set up and are often more than I can use in one hour- so then review and add new things. keep all ages interested. I add some of the kid's Sunday school songs with motions for more involvement.

I use it for kids ages 7-11. It is very adaptable and easy to teach. The kids really enjoy the lessons and activities, and I feel that it effectively communicates biblical truth to children. I have used others in the series, and they are excellent resources, too.

Good teaching material

I have ages 4-11 for Sunday School, all mixed together in my class. This book is great for the lesson, craft and hands-on activities. There are 13 lessons but you can stretch it out because there's so much information. I highly recommend!!!!

Very good - used by variety of teachers over summer and all found it useful. We did 2 lessons together over 7 Sundays and the only comment was that there was too much you could do! Age range was from 5 to 15 as we pull all classes over the summer. Enjoyed as much as the Armour of God book which we used last year.

Very good teaching aid. Loads of material and the kids love the sessions.

We have loved using the 'Kids Travel Guide' series. They have all been brilliant, the kids love learning from them and the leaders love teaching form them.

I had a hard time finding Sunday school material for age 9-12, but this series fits the bill. It is adaptable with more than enough to do in each lesson, so the teacher can pick what kinds of activities will interest the group most. It makes the kids dig deep and apply the Bible knowledge to their lives. Very engaging. Also nice that it only requires one copy for the teacher, simple props, and has copiable handouts for the students.
