Strictly From Hunger

This is an album that has undoubtedly sold far more copies as a reissue than it did originally. Well worth hearing for those interested in late '60s rock music. This one is right between garagey and hard rock with excellent songs.Originals are very collectable and expensive. This release includes the original release plus a much rarer test pressing which prominently features Ed King, future Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist. That version is far superior, as his playing is excellent, but wiped from the original release for contractual reasons. There's also a third disc of additional material.Everything is dubbed from vinyl. I'm sure the master tapes are long lost. This is by far the best dub of the test pressing, compared to the previous Akarma and Void label releases.
