Sadly, these are not near the quality of the same item that we ordered for our last child in 2011. Much, much thinner material. Haven't tried them yet, but am disappointed that Gerber is obviously cutting corners with these.UPDATE -- Just gave these a wash and they came out thick and fluffy just like the last set we bought. I guess these just need one good wash before they get thick and absorbent... Love them now just as much as the first set - as others have said in their reviews these are the BEST burp cloths!

I washed these diapers before I used them. One came unsown on one side and another was obviously never sown properly on one side. I was very disappointed as I trust the "Gerber" name and wanted organic. I will not purchase again.

These are not as thick as I expected. The middle part is the thickest, but on either side the material is a little too thin to be a really good burp cloth. Folding them in half will keep spit up from soaking through, but then you don’t get the surface area coverage of the whole cloth. I’ve had these for a couple of weeks & they’ve already been washed several times and the threading at the corners has begun to fray, but not completely unravel. These aren’t bad for the price, especially considering that they’re organic.Update: These cloths are not only the thinnest burp cloth I have, but they are also the least absorbent. Even after several washes (with zero fabric softener or dryer sheets), milk & spit up bead and roll off of these.I will not be buying them again and do not recommend anyone else buy them.

Ordered these back in July and then again in January. I don't think they are the same item. This time when I wash they get all wrinkly.

The more I wash them, the better they seem to work. I got flats and prefolds but the prefolds are much easier to use even when using as inserts. They are very absorbant and I prefer them to fleece inserts in the newborn size g pants I am currently using. They fit better than even the small size g liners and come clean very easy.

I bought these with making burp cloths in mind but ran out of time before the little one came. But we use these all the time. They are our go to towels/wipes/burp cloths/bibs/basically anything fluid related cloths except for its original purpose. We don't use them as diapers. These are soft and absorbent, easy to clean and dry, and comes in multiples so there's always one on hand. Highly recommend even if not using as cloth diaper.

When I first opened the package, I thought I would be disappointed because it looked rather thin. However, when I washed it, it fluffed up and became very soft. It's not the best diaper out there, but it is quite a nice "bang for the buck"!

Lots of burp cloths are either too small (they look like teeny table runners) or made of fabric that doesn't absorb spit up very easily (and please, you don't want to have to wonder if the spit will slide off). We have about 20 of these Gerber cloth diapers that we use as burp cloths, and they are perfect. In fact, our home has at least of few of these in arms' reach in nearly every room. Not very chic home decor, admittedly, but very useful and hopefully just a short-term accessory. The grandmas in the neighborhood tell me they will continue to be handy as our child grows up, so there's that.

Horrible as a cloth diaper, GREAT as a burp cloth! I used one of these with a flip diaper cover and the whole thing turned into a sopping wet mess the instant my little one peed... I'd highly suggest using the Osocozy organic prefolds as cloth diapers instead and I'm keeping these for burping!

One on the right I bought a few months ago and loved!! Wanted another pack and this is what I got after washing! Definitely not the same product! Do not buy!

Used these as burp cloths...purchased them and had decorative material sewn on the center. Turned out very cute and high quality burp cloth. I've had tons made for myself and given them as gifts. Later was told when they opened them at the shower, they wondered what the heck they do with them and so many of them....but after having the baby they don't know what they'd do without them. They are very good quality. Don't hesitate. They are worth it.

I have used these cloth diapers as burp rags for all 4 of my children. After I had my 5th I ordered some more because mine have dwindled away over the years. These are not even close to the same as they used to be. The old ones are so much thicker, more absorbent, and they don’t come out of the dryer looking like they got a bad perm. Very disappointed in these.

If you're looking for diaper inserts, keep looking, these are worthless.However, they are awesome burp cloths! I bought two packages and have really put them through their rounds as my daughter was a spit up queen! She's a year and a half now and the spit up days are over, but they're still going strong as "all things toddler" rags.

I bought these off of a baby registry to give to a friend - wishing they were a bit thicker, like the other gerber cloth diapers are with the padding. I typically don't use these for burp cloths, but will only because they were on the baby registry. Otherwise - I would definitely return them for a different product.
