So, I am new to the notion that you should consume collagen (good quality) at all. After listening to hours of Dr. Axe and Thomas DeLauer on Youtube, I decided to give it a try. CodeAge seemed like a good quality product that contained the types recommended by these two guys, at half the price than their specific brand recommendations. As the title states, the quality is in the results as far as I'm concerned. In my first week - a mere five days into it - the ache and pain in my shoulders and knees are gone entirely. When I wake up in the morning, I am no longer have stiff and achy muscles. It's like I've reversed my age 20 years, physically. I am 50 years old this year and thought that aches and pains were going to be the "norm" for the rest of my life. I cannot understate how awesome I feel now. I've had no adverse reactions, the taste is nearly undiscernible and it dissolves effortlessly into water, or whatever drink you prefer. The last thing I'll say here, is absolutely unbelievable to me, and actually pissed me off a bit because of all of the so-called medical professionals that I've dealt with over the last 10 years of my life, trying to remedy what they've identified as both "psoriasis" and "eczema," depending on which doctor I talked to about the patches of dry, flaky, cracking, itchy, irritable skin patches that started to appear many years ago. The worst of these patches was in the palm of my right hand and between the forefinger and thumb joint where it would continually crack and bleed, especially when working with pliers or attempting to hand-sand something in the shop. Also at the tips of my pointer finger and middle finger, at the front edges of my fingernail, my skin would harden and split open like cracked soil in a desert. They would bleed and become so tender that I'd have to tape them up and avoid touching things with them. Now, I have been prescribed - no joke - over 30 types of hand creams, steroid creams, creams with every type of weird chemical infused into it, to fix my problem. Who knows what I introduced into my bloodstream/body because of using all of that crap. Well, I am amazed to say that as of this morning (which is why I'm even writing this review) my skin problems are quite simply, no more. My hand looks perrrrrrfect, smooth, and not even a HINT of the years of skin trauma I've endured because of this stupid skin problem and how long did it take? One week on this CodeAge collagen. I've even noticed that the little wrinkles at the corners of my eyes, are smoothing out, not that I should care as a dude but hey, I can't say that I don't like looking a bit younger. I bought this product 48 days ago. I use one level scoop every morning in my coffee. The label says 63 servings.. I only got 48. The package was sealed. Unless, level scoop ≠ 9g? I do love this product, it dissolves great and I don’t notice a strong taste. Makes my coffee kind of creamy which I don’t mind. Changes I’ve noticed: My knees no longer crackle when I bend down. I noticed this change within a week. My skin looks great, I use tret almost nightly but my face seems.. fuller. Not quite the chunky cheeks of my teens but definitely a plump, youthful appearance. My nails are stronger, I’ve been ripping off my gel which normally would have led to thin broken nails by now. Not the case. My hairline is noticeably thicker. Negative side affects: None. I’m a late 20s girlie, your mileage may vary. EDIT: I got a new tub today and weighed a level scoop… it’s about 15g! That’s why the container didn’t last me 2 months (63 servings). 9g is about 2/3 of a scoop. EDIT: I have this on autoship, still loving it. Today I received the new packaging, (the generic looking one), I noticed this one came with a smaller 9g scoop :)

This stuff tastes like a spoonful of powdered artificial creamer for my coffee. I have gotten to like the flavor. My knees seem to be benefiting, but I have also been eating a box of sugar-free Jell-O daily. I plan to buy this again when this one runs out.

I think the collagen is great. No flavor and easy to stir into any of my drinks. My hair always gets compliments and I notice less wrinkles and my complexion is good. I’ve been taking this for about three years now. That’s it, the company recently changed Packaging and the container that the collagen comes in is virtually impossible to open. Multiple times I have had to literally cut the bottom of the jar off and put the collagen into an airtight container of my own! So I wish that they would learn how to get some better packaging. You literally cannot screw the lid off of the container. I have having this happen approximately 50% of the time And it only started when they changed to this new container.

This is a great product! I used a different brand with only the 2 types of collagen, when I switched to this I started seeing big improvements in my foot pain! I went back to the old brand, and two weeks in, I purchased this again. My foot pain is almost completely gone- and side benefit- fine lines and wrinkles in my face are much less- (I only noticed this after about 5 months on collagen)

Growing more little hairs and my fingernails are strong. I mix it into my coffee in the morning and it totally mixes in without any grittiness. I get 2 months out of a container which makes it a good value. I used to use collagen sporadically but found it should be used every day for it to help. I don’t notice any change in my sore joints.

I started using this product in May, 2018. I have an old rib injury that resurfaced about a year ago that was a total game changer. I had to stop exercising, and normal, everyday tasks were painful and hard to do. After seeing a doctor about my situation, he told me I could just live with it the way that it was or I could get an MRI to determine if the injured areas could be removed surgically, but there was no guaranty that surgery would solve the problem. At that point I decided to try to find other less expensive and less invasive options. I read a lot about collagen and which types of collagen might help rejuvenate cartilage. I was impressed that this product has several different sources of collagen. When I first started using this product, I didn't notice a big difference right away. It was such a slow and gradual improvement that it took a while for me to notice that things were getting better. I was no longer a walking barometer that could predict the slightest changes in atmospheric pressure better than the weather forecast. I could sleep on my side again for a few mins at a time. I could bend over to pick things up without wincing or holding my breath because it hurt. After almost 3 months of using this collagen, I hardly have any pain in my ribs. If I slouch or don't sit up straight I get a little uncomfortable. I can sleep on my side for a while now before it starts to bother me. I'm still waiting for my knees to stop sounding like Snap, Crackle and Pop whenever I do stairs or squats, but at least I am exercising again and I can bend over without a second thought as to how bad it will hurt. I can ride horses again, water ski, hike, run and keep up with my kids. This product has made a huge difference in my everyday life that I don't plan to quit taking it any time soon. I usually mix it with tap water and a bit of crystal lite powder. If I put the powder in the glass first, then fill it with luke warm water, most of the mixing happens on its own. It still works with cold beverages, but it just requires more time to stir it in. Strangely enough, the collagen doesn't have too much of a taste itself, but the smell was hard for me to gulp down at the beginning. I'm used to it now, so it doesn't bother me. I’ve only been taking it for 9 days so I can’t say if it’s doing any good or not - but I will say.. it does not mix into cold drinks at all. It gets clumpy and I’ve even had to chew it once in my mouth (barf). It did mix into my coffee with ease, but I read you shouldn’t mix it into hot be beverages. Is that true?? Idk - but I’m really struggling, wanting so much for it to help. Do I keep or return?! Also - I have tried mixing with a spoon, shaking it & using a hand held but nothing helps blend it.
