After YEARS of lugging a heavy umbrella over the dunes and struggling to set it up, especially on really windy days, this was a game changer for us. SUPER easy and fast to set up (and can be done by one person) as well as take down, lightweight, and easy to adjust to catch the wind as our week at the beach saw a lot of changes in direction. Absolutely worth every penny and it fit in our suitcase (a 26" one - definitely won't fit in a carry on.)

This item works great if the wind does not shift. If the wind shifts then you have to move pole and all your things. That is a pain.

This is fabulous IF you have a windy day on the beach. We had a couple days we couldn’t use because there wasn’t enough wind. Take an umbrella for backup.
