The warm white light is great and replaces a regular 'big light' really well. Love the range of colours/features and works with other bulbs using same remote. Definitely worth buying! No more bright lights at 2am and you can turn the bathroom into a disco room. Highly recommend

I originally bought a set of 2 of these as I have a Gas Fire (Which I don’t use) but it’s there if I need it, It takes 2 of the Red Coloured bulbs, I like to have the glow of the light, So rather than pop in 2x 60 watt bulbs, I am only running 9 watts, so virtually Nothing! Also I can have them scroll through the 12 different colours :) I wouldn’t recommend using them if you use the fire though as the bulbs Aren’t Glass, they’re Plastic!But then I bought this set of 4, I have one in my bedroom, so I don’t need to get out of bed to turn the light off, it’s Brilliant or I can have it dimmed, also popped one in my bathroom and at top of my stairs and spare bedroom, it’s like running Energy Saving lightbulbs, but I can have a choice of 12 colours and also what Brightness! I highly recommend these bulbs, they’re not much more price wise than ordinary bulbs, but because they’re only 4/4.5watt bulbs they use hardly any electric, which with bills soaring lately I’d grab a load of these, If I had More lights I’d be buying more 👍🏻

Best thing I've bought and I use them for several hours per day to change the atmosphere in my room. Still working after several months which I wasn't expecting for such a cheap item.They are not compatible with dimmer switches and you'll hear a faint rapid clicking sound if using one. It didn't affect the actual light and it was possible to live with the clicking, but after googling the cause of the issue I was worried it was causing damage to the bulbs, so I swapped out my dimmer for a normal switch and problem solved.They are not very bright and you'll need a few, I bought 2 packs of 4 (bayonet and screw versions of this iLC brand) Using adapters I have 6 plugged in on the ceiling. 95% of the time brightness level 2 of 3 is sufficient. This probably has helped to reduce wear on the bulbs too.6 at 66% brightness mathematically works out the same as 4 at 100% brightness, so it's possible you'll be able to get away with using 4 only if using coloured light. For white light mode they are incredibly bright. I wouldn't be surprised if you could get away with 1 or 2 lighting a room.White light is made by setting the red/green/blue LEDs all to full power, so you'll get the full 40 watt equivalent brightness. When using colours however, for example a plain blue light, you are only activating the blue LEDs, the red and green are unused, thus the significantly lower brightness (13 watt equivalent). Other colours have more brightness depending on how many LED colours are needed to make that shade. The magenta light for example is one of my faves, this colour uses full red+blue lights, so you are getting 66% of max brightness with that colour (26 watt equivalent). Lighter colours closer to white will have a higher brightness.This is why you see complaints about them not being very bright, and is why you have to use a few of them at once to get a true 40 watt equivalent coloured bulb. With my 6 at 66% brightness and magenta light, I'm getting the equivalent brightness of around a single 100 watt bulb. At 100% brightness it gives 160 watt equivalent. I do like a nice atmosphere so I stick with the darker middle setting. At brightness setting 1 of 3 it would be around a 52 watt equivalent magenta light. I can tell you that is quite dark in real world use, and the colourisation does not travel very far even in a dark room. If you've got any natural daylight coming in it's going to drown out what little colour there is.Best thing is to buy adapters which allow you to fit 4+ bulbs to a single fixture, then reign in the brightness with the remote as required. Better to have an excess of brightness than be wishing for more.

Due to technical reasons I could not have my bedside switches located where I wanted them and the electrician suggested using smart bulbs . I did not want to faff about with Alexa, and fortunately found Amazon also offers these four bulbs with remote controls. Over all, I'm pleased with these lights as they work as hoped and switch on and off when I'm in bed without my having to go into contortions to reach the wall switches which are now partially behind my new and fabulous headboard. I have four of these bulbs two for bedside lamps and two above bed lamps which have puce coloured shades. The light is very bright even with two lamps on but it is a cold light not a warm one as with standard electric bulbs. This is fine for reading, but gets a bit wearing after a while. The dimmer also works well and appears to have two settings, half light and twilight. Oddly there is no yellow or pink light in the selection that comes with these bulbs and it is difficult to fathom why there are three choices of greens, blues and reds, and one orange, which are too dark and, to my tase, cast an unpleasantly spooky light. The red light, particularly brings to mind Dante's inferno. For my purposes I find the light green works best for a dimmer light. However since the bulbs are located near one another one control works for all of them and they all go on and off at the same time. I found it is best to switch off at the dimmest setting if it is needed to go to the bathroom during the night because it switches back on the last setting. Four lights going on at the same time at full glare at 4 am can be a shock to the system. For the price and the convenience however these bulbs are worth buying. Thank you Amazon. Cannot comment on the time function as I do not need it.

Bought this for my children's room and they really loved it. They love all the light settings and colours. Not too bad for price and easy to install just like a normal light bulb.

Bought one and my granddaughter wanted them in every room. Now every room in my daughters house is a disco. They love it.

Très joli et très pratique ! La luminosité maximale n’est pas énorme mais suffisante.La télécommande est un vrai plus.

bien toute sorte de lumière. Seul bémol pour moi c'est l'intensité lumineuse qui même baissé reste trop forte a mon gout pour une ambiance cosy. Mais c'est mon gout perso surement avec un abat-jour plus épais çà irais. je recommande.
