GARMONTMen's T8 Extreme GTX Insulated Tactical Military Coyote Boot

Super all rounder boot.
First off the boot looks amazing, even in bigger sizes. Second the quality and fit is very accepting for everyday use. Lightweight and durable with good ankle support. Chef's kiss right there. Even good for longer hiking/climbing trips with excellent breathability.

Best Boots I’ve Hiked in… EVER…
(After a 16 mile, 1,000Ft+ elevation change, and 7+ hour hike my feet were still comfortable and would be able to wear the boot for the rest of the day) Bought these boots because they are waterproof and we’re hopefully thin enough to hike warm weather and cold weather conditions. They were a little roomy and didn’t really have an issue with the insole but still decided to swap it out with a better one which, I couldn’t be happier that I did. They fit perfect now and don’t give me any issues when hiking in 100 degree weather nor do they give me issues in freezing rain. I’ve walked through mid calf streams and my feet stayed dry. I have stood in boot high water for long periods of time and they still kept my feet dry. I love the flat laces and the design as well. With a good pit of boots like these and a good upkeep they should last me years and years! The two photos I have are fresh after a cleaning so the leather is wet making them look darker, they are a true coyote brown when dry. Serious props to Garmont for making a boot I will buy again and comfortably wear every day.

Great cold weather boot
Functions as expected and described. I broke these in by filling them with water and then wearing them for several hours while I did house and yard work. They broke in easily. I used them for a hunting trip in upstate New York and they did very well in the mountain terrain and sub-freezing weather. Very comfortable and great traction. I did order them a half size bigger and in the wide (vice the normal size width that I normal wear in my running shoes).

Very nice Boots
The 4 stars is because they run narrow sizing is not accurate. I wear a 11 regular/medium/D these are not size regular they run narrow. Had to send them back for refund. really wish they fit they are very nice boots

Perfect fit!
I was a little leery ordering boots online, but I took the risk, and now I'm glad I did!I'm an Army veteran, and I can tell you that quality boots make or break a troop that's on the ground.I normally have to buy half a size up for boots and shoes, as I wear a wide, but they offered my size and it fit perfectly. These boots will easily go into bunny boots if you work in the deep arctic like I do, although they're plenty warm for any climate you're likely to come across about +50 to -50 in latitude (Basically the southern border of Canada all the way to deep south Argentina.) If you're in Europe, these boots will do fine, as the Gore-tex lining helps keep your feet dry. If you're as far north as Norway, these boots may be sufficient, but you might want some bunny boots to go over them. They were a bit rigid out of the box, but that's to be expected. I soaked the inside with water and wore them around the house for a few hours. That broke them in immediately.I was on my feet for 10 hours yesterday, and didn't give my feet a second thought. Very comfortable and very highly recommended. I do recommend buying a suede boot cleaning kit to keep them looking nice, if you're concerned with such things.

Outstanding Boot
I have had these boots going on two years now, 10,000 to 13,000 steps a day. They are worn daily from 6am to 6 pm in all the weather Maine can throw at them. They have seen heavy rain, sub zero temps and hot humid days. They still have plenty of life left in them. No rips, or deterioration of the fabric, none of the eyes have pulled out and I'm still on the original laces. The Gortex is still doing it's job keeping my feet dry and comfortable despite the crazy rainy summer we had this year. The tread is starting to wear and will probably go first but I have no doubt the boots will make it till spring.

Best goretex boots I've owned
Feet don't sweat inside the goretex, probably because the boot is breathable.Very light, very durable. The tread is very intense, good for ice and snow or trails.Comfy out of the box, ordered my normal size in wide and I have in-between wide and normal feet.

Very tight fit. I do not recommend, especially for the cost.
I was very disappointed when I used these boots the first time. I do not recommend cold weather less than 40 -degrees. Even if you are a regular width, get the wides because they are a very tight fit and get a half size up as well. So, when they mean cold weather, they must mean between 40-50 degrees but cause anything lower that, your foot will be frozen. I was up north a few months ago in -10 to 20-degree weather and my foot was freezing whenever I stepped outside. I was wearing wool socks but the second problem I ran into, is that the compartment is soo small that any bulky sock will be too thick and it will constrict your foot too much. I could only comfortably fit my foot in there when I was wearing a thin sock. I ordered the wides because of my flat feet and even then they were a bit too narrow. The only good thing about these is the Vibram sole is pretty rugged and they are AR670-1 compliant. They would be a good temperate weather boot, but not cold weather. Highly do not recommend them for the price. Garmont makes some good stuff, but not these.

Very comfortable and good company to deal with
I am in the Canadian military and bought these boots to replace SWATS I had. I find these Garmont boots are more comfortable than the SWATS and have great support and traction. I did notice after just 2 months of wear that a hunk of the rubber came off on the heel. I contacted the company to inquire on any warranty that there might be but I was already passed the 30 day Amazon policy. The company itself gave me a refund showing great customer support. All in all, I think I just got a pair of boots with a small defect but because they are so comfortable and the support I received, they get a 5 star. I will be buying another pair of these boots in the hopes they are without a defect. Possibly a follow up review when I’ve worn the new pair for awhile.

Men’s Garmont boot review
The boots are excellent quality and comfort. I wear a size 10 or 10.5 shoe or work book. Ordered the 10.5 regular width. On the first try on the boot was quite tight across the widest part of my foot as well as the top of my arch. I was worried they would be too tight after long hours hiking but the boot broke in with just enough room. If you’re in doubt maybe go up a half size . Unfortunately the 10.5 wide was too wide. Boot turned out to fit snug but very good fit

Comfiest things I've ever put on my feet
These are by far the comfiest things I have ever put on my feet. and they are tactical boots that do not rub, have good room, high ankle so provide support but flexible enough to think you're not in a boot, rugged and flexi-soled. Rucking is a cinch. I wear these everywhere I can because they are so goddam good. I mean PMCs wear them by choice so they must be good. Please note that regardless of what the website says about sizing you will need a size up. Read UK size as US. I ordered a 9.5 but when it arrived my feet were touching the end - sent back and sized up to 10.5. perfect now Uk10.5 but uk 9.5 (typically I take 8.5-9) (the problem is if they read this they might adjust it so you may end up sizing too big...anyway they have a fantastic returns option). Takes a a couple of weeks for delivery but they are travelling. No great at keeping water out in boggy conditions - they're not meant to - you're meant to jump in and let the water drain out. But I have also ordered the GTX ones which have a better wet and cold rating, minus some flex.100% recommend
