Just installed a 2Ton 24K BTU minis split with 25ft lineset and this vacuum worked perfect. Drew down fast to around 100microns in about 7 minutes, even below what was asked for by manufacturer. I did a triple evacuation using nitrogen, ( See HVAC tips guy on youtube for Triple evacuation method) and it worked flawless. Comes packaged with TWO bottles of oil. One to get you started, and another for the oild change whenever someday. A quality product. Quiet. Heavy build quality. Happy with it. I don't have other experience with single stage or cheaper ones, but very glad I sprung for this one. One of those get what you pay for purchases. A comfort zone.

This vacuum pump has been amazing. It is WAY better than the cheap ones you see all over Amazon. It is just as good, or even better, than the $500+ options. Seriously has to be the best in it's price class. The build quality is top notch. Don't even think about buying one of those Robinair ones over this. I tested the one I got, ultimate vacuum was 8 microns and it achieves just over it's 5 CFM rating. EDIT: Used it to pump down a 2 ton mini split this weekend. Worked great in the 108 degree heat, the fan kept it cool. Comes with 2 oil changes which was nice. Uses hydrotreated top notch oil. I was able to pump down to 115 microns on the mini split, measured at the compressor service valve. Nice!

I used this for a lot of pro jobs and it pumps down extremely quick. Highly recommend

Been using it for one year now on our freeze drier. Using dairyland oil in it from day one. Runs for 40-50hrs at a time between oil cleanings. no issues yet. pulls the pressure down to ~0 PSIA. Will be buying more.

Great value for money, top quality, it’s a must for anyone working in HVAC

This vacuum pump is certainly a good product, it pulls a very deep vacuum very fast in my 5 gallon chamber. My only gripe about this product so far is that the oil vapor is pretty immense during the initial vacuuming. I found a simple solution to that by adding a couple of paper towels rubberbanded to the exhaust. This vacuum will work with small chambers as well as vacuum ovens. Higher quality than its robinair 5 cfm counterpart. I would not hesitate to replace if lost or get fixed if it breaks. Thumbs up.

I haven't really used this pump because the inlet fittings doesn't match R134a ACME fitting for my yellow hose. Had to buy the Kozyvacu, 5.0CFM 2-Stage Rotary Vane Economy Vacuum Pump (5.0CFM, 0.3Pa, 1/2HP), cheaper, reliable, useable, can provide cooling for inside my car because the inlet fitting has one for R134a ACME that matched my yellow hose which enable the evacuation process.
