I love the design of these brass hurricane candle lamps, they came in a set of 3 of different sizes, and were extremely well packed.I love that they come apart easily with no tools needed. The bass base unscrews into 3 pieces and the glass shade just rests on top.The glass shade is cool to the touch just bellow the flame but is obviously hot from the flame height and above.The brass base is wider and weighted giving the candles stability great for use as we had them on Lifetime 6ft folding tables on a shingle beach.These hurricane candle holders support candles 250mm high by 22mm wide, at 25 cm high the candle flame is at the top of the shade and prone to blowing out but after 1-2 minutes it’s burnt down to a level that protects the flame from the wind.If the candle is only 20mm wide you’ll need to add some wax or something to wedge candles upright. Ideally the candle should be 20-23cm in height to be protected from the wind.The only negative comment is that the glass shade just rest on top of the brass base and is a loose fit, but the candle will stop the shade falling off. As we had kids around we put a little blue tack on base of shade to stop the rattle on the brass base when moving. They might consider fitting a gasket in rubber or silicon to make it a tighter fit.As mentioned we used thes on a beach under a gazebo for a party of 25, they where great, but we did notice that one of the non drip candles did infact drip, but either this was defective or the heat in the shade caused this particular candle do melt the non drip surround faster, however the other two where unaffected.I like these candles that much that I’ve decided to get a second set, as I feel they would create a more uniform look to the centre piece as the set of 3 come in three different heights

Stalks/candle holders were wonky so returned them.

These are beautiful when in use and they come packaged very well. They are easy to assemble but not so easy to take apart again as the wax from the candles melts down the sides of the glass tube and sticks them to the base (I found a hairdryer to be the best way to heat up the wax to get it off safely) I ended up with several cracked glass tubes.Other than that they are sturdy and have a good weight to them, and they look gorgeous.

I can’t begin to tell you how many hours, days, and stores I went to trying to find the perfect candle stick holder's. My search was done when I found these & I’m extremely pleased with them. I wanted something classy, chic & mesh well with any holiday decor I’m decorating with for the season plus also practical for the times when the holiday decor comes down & just want simple. They are easy to put together and pretty sturdy for how tall they are.

Gorgeous. Very delicate, the glass cylinders are tall, so you will want to candle them on a low surface. Candles should be the thick base tapers for stability. Otherwise the slender cheap candles could topple and the glass is so delicate that it won’t keep it safe.
