Does it work against starlings?

Hi there, please can you tell me if this item makes a noise that is audible to humans? Thanks

This item has a flashing light every 50 seconds or so there is no noise ,to the human ear. Warning ?i returned my purchase as it had no effect what so ever to deter pigeons. The company are very good to deal with and refunded my cost I would advise you not to purchase?

I only need to deter pigeons, will this item frighten small birds away?

I have not been impressed with this device, the access to the batteries with the silly little six screws, is poorly designed. The pigeons under my solar panels have actually built a nest right next to this device !
