IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A GREAT VR HEADSET,,,,,, STOP AND SHOP! THIS IS THE ONE.
I recently purchased the VR SHINECON Virtual Reality VR Headset back in February, but waited a few months before posting this review. This was to ensure that I could use the headset several times in order to get a true feel of it before posting my review. I must say, it is truly top of the line. As a tech-savvy individual, I've tried several VR glasses before, but this one definitely stands out.Firstly, the headset is compatible with both iOS and Android devices, making it versatile and convenient. Whether I want to enjoy immersive TV shows, movies, or video games, this VR headset delivers an exceptional experience. What truly impressed me is the crystal-clear display and 3D effect. The visuals are stunning, providing a truly immersive experience. The headset also supports a wide range of screen sizes, from 4.7 to 6.53 inches, ensuring compatibility with various devices. The VR SHINECON headset also comes with a remote control, which adds an extra layer of convenience. It allows me to navigate through menus and control my VR experience effortlessly. The build quality of these VR glasses is exceptional. They feel sturdy and durable, ensuring that they will last for a long time. The comfortable padding and adjustable straps make it easy to wear for extended periods without discomfort.Overall, I highly recommend the VR SHINECON Virtual Reality VR Headset. It truly delivers a top-of-the-line VR experience with its compatibility, stunning visuals, and convenient remote control. If you're a tech enthusiast like me, you won't be disappointed. Warmest Regards, Lorne Sandy.

Don't bother! Waste of $$$!
COMPLETE JUNK! my daughter wanted a meta 2 for Christmas (which we JUST CANT AFFORD rn) so WANTED an affordable alternative. IMAGINE THE EXCESSIVE DISSAPPOINMENT when she opens it Christmas morning WANTING to play with it! BUT there's NO instructions on how to set up/function with your phone. And the remote WONT pair with (our) phone and isn't picked up my the VR headset.Long story short, this seller is no longer a supplier of ANY of our needs and COMPLETELY disappointed with product!

Good enough for the price!
The remote connects with the phone fine, but as for gameplay with it on my a12 it doesn't work with the available play store games. The headset is comfortable enough but overall I wouldn't invest in another one.

One of the better, inexpensive VR headsets
I have tried about 4 inexpensive VR headsets ever since the Samsung Gear VR stopped working with my Samsung Galaxy S7 phone. The Gear VR was developed by Oculus and presented a great value for Samsung phone owners, but alas, the company stopped further production. Short of purchasing a $300+ Oculus/Meta 2 VR system, I did not want to invest that amount of money for occasional VR use. I just wanted something to be able to watch movies in "big screen" with, run the occasional VR title from YouTube or other services, or have my kid experience foreign places via Google Street View.Past purchases were riddled with interface and usability issues. I did eventually settle on one device, but it still fogs up and the field-of-view was not particular great, distorting images around the fringe edges. This VR Shinecon one looked promising with several features and came at a decent price. In hindsight, considering how much I had already spent on trying to find "cheaper" VR headsets, I probably could have bought an Oculus 2 by now, but what happened has happened.PROS- Did not fog up- Vision had nearly no distortion (for its price point)- Independent lens control for left/right eyes and spacing between the eyes- "Touch" button on the headset itself to simulate you touching the screen. Some apps take that as a request to center the image, which is great- Multi-functional controls on the headset: I did not use them. No idea how to utilize them on my Samsung Galaxy S21+, actually- Bluetooth remote control-- Works REALLY well in controlling most of the games and apps I had been using, including volume, centering, start/pause- Earphones (3.5mm jack)-- Can be partially swivelled up so the ears are not entirely covered- Headphone cable included free as a surprise, but it's only for Apple Lightning-to-3.5mm (not USB-to-3.5mm)- Securely holds phone in placeCONS- Phone's volume controls are completely inaccessible-- You will need to use the Bluetooth remote control with supported apps (moving the directional joystick up/down controls volume on the "VR Theater" Android app)- Earphones are only 3.5mm and not Bluetooth-- Included headphone cable is only for Apple Lightning-to-3.5mm and not USB-to-3.5mm-- My phone does not have a 3.5mm jack any more, and since the earphones cannot be removed to make the headset less bulky, I might just break them off through the removal of whatever parts that are holding them together- BulkyThis is perhaps one of the better, inexpensive VR headsets I have used.

Good, low-cost VR headset
This headset works well for me. I am using Samsung Galaxy S10+ with Android OS. I was able to hook up the controller well. So far, I have been watching Youtube videos and VR demo apps. I wear glasses and have to wear them in the headset. It works fine and is still comfortable with the glasses on, but I can image you would be limited on how big of frames you wear. The sound quality is good and hooks up with a headphone jack. I think it is a good value for the money.

Not adjustable enough for adults
The focal adjustments are okay, but the pupil adjustmemt that spreads the eyes apart doesnt go far enough.. im seeing double vision because it doesnt adjust enough. MAYBE if i had the head the size of a young adult or a child?Very cheap design. Buttons dont work for my oneplus 6t. Theres nothing digital about this headset besides the bluetooth remote, its just a lump of plastic with two poorly adjustable lenses. However, i can still make use of it for turning my flir one pro into a goggle design, by cutting out those pitifully designed eye lenses and dividers.. ill just look at the whole phone. The lenses are just a gimmick anyways. This isnt vr.This is not worth more than 10-15$ in my opinion, as all you are buying is the cheap housing and the limited function remote.
