Robust door latch,easy to fit but you need to provide your own screws which is fair as the seller doesn’t know if you’re fitting to brick or wood. Closes perfectly and feels secure - perfect! Recommend buying if you need a good quality latch at a decent price.

Strong and well made. No rust yet. Looks OK, dead easy to fit. As usual crap screws supplied.

Good quality but not suitable for what I needed

This has replaced an old rusty latch. This does not rust, is strong, easy to fit, has a hole to allow a padlock to be fitted. It has kept my gate closed continuously without fail after heavy use.

Arrived quickly and good quality

This is most definitely not heavy duty, the plate material this made of of is circa 1 - 1.2mm thickness steel. Galvanising is of a poor standard and coverage is uneven, you will note there are runs and drips, that latter can be an issue as you may catch you hand or finger on it and suffer a scratch or cut, the drips will need to be removed / de-burred resulting in localised galvanising being lost. The latch retaining pin is poorly attached and may prone to coming apart after some use. The latch bar has a poor finish (burrs all over it) and again a poor galvanised finish, bare steel is visible at the head which will corrode.
