This works pretty well
This is a neat little device. I ordered it just to give it a try; it is easy to set up and works better than I imagined. Is small enough; it’s not obvious what it is. It doesn’t seem to be PIR, more akin to sonar. Really sensitive but not enough to false alarm. I like it so much ; I ordered a 2nd one.

Has good range detection but does not integrate with Alexa or Google Home properly
Product was easy to setup and works quite well with it's own app. Has good detection range and can see me at far end of workshop, which other motion sensor strugglesIt does integrate with Alexa communicating proper person detection so able to use it as light ON switch..Initially it didn't work but after a week or two of just leaving it alone, the software updates occurred on their own and Alexa and Google now both see the device properly. Alexa routine is now turning lights on and off properlyRevising rating to 4 stars.I'm replacing an Alexa Flex with motion detector. That combination has very quick response time, and would turn on lights as I entered room almost instantly. This device has a longer lag 2-3 seconds, so I either have to turn on switch manually or pause at door. However the Flex would not see me if I was more than 15feet away or stationary and would turn off lights while I was in workshop, very annoying. This thing sees me everywhere. Overall this is a better tradeoff.

Save your money!
Might be a good product if their software for Android worked in the US and they actually had support to help instead of sending you to a discord forum. This company is just not ready for primetime!

WiFi reliability problems
Have many of these units. They occasionally drop out due to neighborhoods WiFi interference. It's frustrating when the unit needs to be power cycled when it attempts to connect to an AP where several have the same name like a mesh. Their modbus protocol implementation has a 3 second delay. A recent firmware update supports a faster MQTT protocol. They force you to login into their server. I have to relogin every few months because my devices would stop working due to being auto logged out.I tried to contact customer support. Needless to say there is zero support. No email response either. At this point I would opt for a Zigbee setup over WiFi ones.

Great with Home Assistant or with the free app
Like every "smart home" or IOT product these days, this one has it's OWN APP (yuck! like I need ANOTHER app for just one thing!) but what's awesome about this is, it's got the option to use MQTT (which is integrated into Home Assistant), so once you activate the sensor, you can simply use it with all your other devices, regardless of who the manufacturer is.After I found out how easy it was to use, I bought several more. Now, if you walk into my kitchen at night, the under-counter lights come on like magic (and turn off a minute after everybody leaves.)

Motion, not presense
It detects motion, after a moment. Then it says no motion detected when am no longer moving even though am in the room. Starts detecting again when I start moving. It’s a better motion detector than PIRs, but I wanted presense detection. It takes it a good 10 secs or so to transition between states but even that is inconsistent.

Finally! A workaround to my child leaving every light in the house on!
I saw this product reviewed on Paul Hibbert’s YouTube channel, and couldn’t believe the potential! My daughter never met a light she didn’t want to leave on. Changing all the bulbs to smart ones with Alexa functionality helped SOME, but without fail the kitchen lights would be left on overnight.I love how affordable this is, how easy it is to set up the app, and ease of incorporating it into Alexa routines.I set up 2 routines, 1 to turn the lights on when someone enters the room, and 1 to turn them off after 20 minutes.Best motion sensor for the money!

It works!
I have an unfinished basement with "cellar door" access via outside. All I wanted was a simple sensor (not part of a security alarm system) that can trigger an Alexa routine when it senses motion (opening cellar door, trigger "turn on basement light" routine to the smart bulbs down there). This hit the mark 100%, and now my wife thinks I'm a super handy-man genius (not really). It has a few extra features I'm sure are neat but I really don't care about.I'm not 100% on this yet, but it's noteworty I think that this thing has to remain plugged into a usb port for power to run, which I think may be a little awkward if you're hiding it in a cabinet - have to drill a hole or something.Dinked it a star because of a few setup issues:-scan the qr code in the instructions and link is dead-the app doesn't match the instructions, so you just have to connect dots on your own and figure it out-as far as I can tell it requires constant power from the usb port
