I love the fact that it has a timer, so no risk of forgetting and leaving it run too long. You first remove any pets and plants, then set the timer to the amount of time you want it to run, then leave the rv or house. I used it in our rv for killing mold and removing the odor. I first cleaned the mold with an alkaline mold removing product (Concrobium Mold Control), then used the ozone machine to, hopefully, kill any spores in the wood. The mold spray did leave some discoloration on the wood. Only used the ozone machine 10 minutes the first day, then 30 minutes the next day. It's been a few weeks now, but the odor is still gone and nothing has grown back. Just do your research first, and don't use it too long, because ozone can dissolve the plastic insulation around wires and cause a fire. This is a very powerful machine and way too strong for an rv, though, so just don't use it too long. Would be great for a house, especially a musty basement. Good quality. Glad I got it.

These are awesome for everything from killing smoke odors to killing cockroaches but it can kill you too. DO NOT walk into a room where this is running, it can destroy your lungs. Standard procedure is to place it as close to the door you will walk into later as possible to turn it off (if it's running), open all doors and windows and get back out for 30 minutes. It has amazing properties (ozone) but it can kill you like it does anything else. If you can smell it, you are too close. Open the door, unplug the unit if it's still running, open at least a door or window and get out for half an hour. That works. Assuming it won't hurt you for breathing it for extended periods is a mistake. It kills organic material, and you are organic. Great tech, but don't treat it like cotton candy. It has to be taken seriously.

Tested out the machine in the "man cave" where they smoke cigars. Let it run for 3 min in the 300sqft room. No more cigar odor but the strong ozone smell lasted for about 6 or 7 hrs leaving it smell like a hospital. So did its job in my opinion! First machine we ordered came and didn't work so we returned which was fast & easy.

Had a used vehicle traded in that smelled like poverty! Ran it twice through the long cycle and the smell was gone! Leaves a chlorine type smell.

I bought this old house and after completing a complete remodel, one bedroom had a heavy smoke smell even after a coat of primer. I used this machine for 5 mins for the 2PPM odors and let it air out for about an hour. The smell is 100% gone… I even smelled the walls and even with a highly sensitive pregnant nose, there was zero trace of cigarettes.Chemistry is incredible!
