It's a usb stick
There is not a lot to say really. I bought this stick purely on the quality reviews. As you know the speeds quoted by the manufacturer are usually pure fantasy but I have had good results so far. It is lightweight and has a retractable usb plug so it is well made. Recommended.

Word of warning if you're looking to make a restore drive
This works perfectly well, though I haven't done much with it yet. Compared to ones from a few years ago it is unbelievably light and does feel a bit flimsy, but as I said, it works. Trouble is, I only bought it make a restore drive for my new laptop and Microsoft say you need a 16GB drive but barely half the files [Windows 10] were transferred before the drive was full. Not the drive's fault but blasted Microsoft - and the page giving instructions was supposedly updated just last month. So, watch out if that's all you want this for and buy a 32GB one instead. You might be interested to know that as the new laptop doesn't have an optical drive I copied a disk onto the flash drive on the old laptop with USB2.0 and then onto the new one with UBS 3.0. The first transfer was about three minutes and the second about three seconds. Things have certainly come a long way in such devices - I remember floppy discs....

This is one of the fastest 64GB drives I've seen, let alone one of the cheapest
Reviewing the 64GB version:Nice quality and durable plastic case with what feels to be a solid retractable connector, has a nice feel to it.There was lots of discussion about how it would be rubbish for a cheap stick so I didn't have high hopes but decided to CrystalDiskMark it to be sure - got 110MB/s read and 71MB/s write, which is vastly better than I would have expected for this kind of money (just over £5), even much more expensive sticks would struggle to reach this performance.Doesn't get too hot in use (just a little warm) and no issues to speak of. Does seem to slow to around 25MB/s write after 2GB or so has been transferred but still consider that quite quick.Highly recommended.

A nice size with nice speeds, but won't always stay locked!
The JetDrive is a nice size to hold, perhaps erring on the upper end of average in terms of bulk. I deliberately bought a drive that had some size to it so that a) it wouldn't disappear down the side of a couch so easily, and b) so that the electronics build quality would reflect the physical space available. On the latter point, it seems extremely stable in all devices I've tested it with. My PC, TV, and hi-fi all quite happily recognise it immediately (which is more than can be said for my HP drive...) and transfer speeds 'feel' very good indeed. USB 3.0 is definitely a step up in that respect. It also doesn't get too hot during use, which another drive of mine (Busbi) does whilst being only marginally smaller. My only qualm with it is the slide-out locking mechanism for the cap. It's far too easy to either not push it the whole way, or accidentally unclip it from its locked position. This results in it pushing back inside the body when you try to plug it in. It's not a big deal, but form is just as important as function in something that's designed to be moved around.

A very good alround flash drive, good value for 64Gb storage, excellent appearance, ease of use and good alround value for money.
A very good reliable 64Gb flash drive not the fastest USB 3 Flash drive out there but excellent storage capacity for the money and looks goods and is easy to see its working with the bright blue Led lighting up the device when it is plugged into a PC, A Hd Television USB port or a Playstation 3 and works problem free with all of these. It is easily and quickly recognized by a PC and drivers are automatically installed on a Windows 7 PC. After which time the device is instantly ready to be used and can be used as a ready boost device. It is instantly recognizable on a Playstation 3 plugged into a free USB port or a USB hub and can be used to copy music onto it,pictures and games saves with no problems,no issue or conflicts. So the Transend Jetdrive is multi system compatable and a very good alround external storage device which has a multitude of uses from storing pictures, videos, music, game saves, games, applications as long as they are compatible with flash drives, there is no problems. A very good alround flash drive very good storage capacity for the price, moderately fast, easy to use and can be used on a variety of systems.

Useful item.
Transcend are a well known name in storage devices. I have purchased several Transcend products over the years, and they have proved to be reliable and robust. This particular item was an excellent price, well under the general cost at other retailers.
