Best plant protein
Let me start by saying this doesn’t mix nearly as easily and smoothly as some premium whey protein powders out there these days. And it definitely does have that kind of “earthy” taste other reviewers mentioned. However, the night and day difference between this and whey protein powder on my digestive system outweighs both of those. Plus, I got used to the taste very quickly, so it’s not a big deal.I don’t know how the chocolate or double chocolate is. But I got the chocolate peanut butter and I will say it definitely tastes like very dark chocolate, not sweet at all. So if you don’t like the idea of that, go with the unflavored or chocolate peanut butter.

Don't waste your money!
This product sounded great, healthy simple ingredients. Unfortunately, this is the worst protein powder I have ever tried in my life. The taste is musky but I figure with it being pea protein it would have a different taste. I could deal with that by added other ingredients. The reason I can't use this product is, it will never dissolve and it taste like what I can imagine is sand and water. It's gritty, awful and it makes me nauseous. This product is expensive and you can not return after opening, which is crazy because to me, it is defective. I contacted Naked customer service and they do not care. They could have at the very least have a coupon to purchase another product in their line like the whey. It's undrinkable and I'm throwing it and my money away. I will never purchase a product from them.

The only protein powder I buy
Great in oats and mixed in with other stuff. Flavor is not awesome by itself, but it is still the only protein powder that I use. Great price, no Stevia, which is hard to find. If you just want a protein powder to do a shake, this might not be the best flavor option for you, but otherwise its great.

good flavor
This product is a good value for the money. I use it in conjunction with a balanced diet and was able to lose some unwanted weight. I am very pleased.

Can’t get past the flavor and texture
Edit: I tried blending with 1 tbsp peanut butter 2 tbsp Greek yogurt, 3/4 cup mil, ice, splash of syrup for sweetness, and 1/4 cup oats to combat the texture. It is technically very slightly more palatable but the taste is still terrible.Got the chocolate peanut butter one. Smells like peanut butter. Does not taste anything close to chocolate, more like a pea taste with hint of peanut butter. Texture is almost unpalatable, separates if you don’t chug it. I like the fact it’s clean but I don’t see my wife and I buying this again because we can’t tolerate it mixed with just milk or water. Reminiscent of drinking clay.

Tough to open the lid and not a great taste!
I can't stress this enough. If you purchase this item, you will likely not be able to open the lid without someone VERY strong. I had to get my 35 year old body builder son to finally be able to spin off the lid. He almost gave up before it finally released. That is just crazy! We tried this powder this morning and mixed it with our usual frozen strawberries, frozen blueberries, and a TBLS of peanut butter. Both my wife and I had a very difficult time drinking this stuff down. It must be the peas. It really did not taste good at all, and I actually like peas!

Good for people with lactose intolerance, bad for those looking for a decent flavor
I swapped to this because whey protein was giving me stomach aches. Good news is this one doesn’t. Bad news is that no matter what flavor you get they all taste like dirt. That’s the downside to plant based from what I’ve come to find out. My recommendation is mixing this with lactase and some honey. It’ll make not so bad.
