They work
Tomcat Advanced Brand Mouse Bait works very well to keep the mice away. We have a small cabin and have had a little mouse find a way inside it through crawlspace. I sealed all possible entry points and placed the bait and it has kept the mice away. Overall very effective and highly recommended.

It works, but I think the spring bar traps work better.
I've seen these types of traps employed before at commercial locations. I put this in a shed that had some mice tearing up my stuff. This was one of two identical traps that I received for the purpose of reviewing. The mice are indeed attracted to the bait in this trap, but if they die inside the box they're going to work up a stink, especially in the summer. While it comes with additional blocks of the bait, as a disposable unit, I'm not interested in spending the time opening it to clean it out, especially if it has (long) expired mice already in it.This is where the old fashion spring bar traps excel, and why I prefer them. They're easy to set, do the job, are simple to clean, and can be used over and over. There's an argument to make about how humane these two traps are, but the spring bar trap is often quick and direct, not a slow acting poison. For $15, I'd honestly rather buy traditional traps, but my use case is not one that's inside of the home, and there are not pets or young children that are around the trap.

Goodbye vermin
With the changing of the season the mice want to come inside out of the cold. Well I used this around the house being careful where the dogs or grandkids weren’t able to reach them. So basically just where the mice like to hang out during the day. They feasted on this stuff and maybe 2-3 weeks and no signs of mice and yeah I did have to pick up a few dead ones and dispose of them but that was confirmation that it was working. I still keep it out in the garage and a few places here in the house just in case more want to move in.

Does not work
Does not work against mouse or rats. Not a single bite after weeks of leaving out. Glue and regular traps are better. The bag has powder and smells bad and is probably dangerous to handle. Do not recommend.

Love that the animals can’t get in to it.
I have you something similar to this for outside the house but it wasn’t this brand. I put this in the room where I heard some scratching and saw some droppings and I lock the door because I don’t want my animals to get in but still I’m glad that even if they do get in that room it’s kinda safe that they can’t get into that container. After a week I haven’t noticed any droppings and I haven’t heard any scratching so I’m hoping that it did work and you get a lot of extra poison. If you need to use it I didn’t look in the container so I don’t know if they eat any of it, but I think they might have I haven’t seen anything. I’m gonna check it one day, but I’m scared to go in it.This is a great option if you have pets and just if you want to get rid of mice .

Wear gloves before opening, and do not open inside your house!
You can feel a resealable zipper and see a tear notch in this packaging, but when you tear, the whole top of the bag tears and resealing is out of the question. The instructions warn to always wear gloves when handling the bait or the bait station, but once you open the bag you are looking at 12 loose chunks of poisoned bait that have been grinding off each other. The bait blocks are crumbly and there is quite a bit of powdered bait residue throughout. This product loses two stars for being improperly packaged. The bait blocks should be in a resealable bag and separated from the bait station. The large amount of ground up bait dust, and the warning to always wear gloves, is scary. There is also a distinctive odor coming from the product, which makes me wonder if I should have had a respirator as well. My advice is to put on gloves before you open this package, to have a high quality disposable and resealable pouch ready to transfer the bait blocks into, and to immediately dispose of the original packaging and all the bait powder inside. Of course now you have the 11 spare bait blocks in an unmarked bag and no longer have the instructions or warnings.3 stars for a product that was surprisingly poorly packaged.

A Brand I Trust
Disclaimer: I received this item for free from the Vine program. I didn't get paid for the review and, in fact, I Pay 45% in Federal and State Income Taxes for each item. I apologize that I don't include pictures but I have a genetic trait that causes my hands to shake.Where I live on my 7.5 acres, natural predators and birds of prey do a good job of keeping down the mouse population. I do have many outside buildings and some are open buildings with chain-link fencing closures, making it impossible to mouse-proof these areas. The Tomcat Advanced Brand Mouse Bait with Refillable Station is a perfect solution to prevent a mouse infestation. I'm able to easily place the bait inside the Refillable Station and place the baited station anywhere I need coverage. Probably, I could use only the bait in some of these locations, but I do like the added protection that a bait station provides.I like to be proactive against a mouse infestation and I'll place this baited station ahead of any infestation. Previously, I have purchased other Tomcat bait stations and I'm happy to use this Tomcat Advanced Brand Mouse Bait with Refillable Station with my older bait stations.

Easy to use bait station
This mouse bait station is easy to use. It doesn't actually catch mice, it just holds the bait and has a small hole so only a mouse or something smaller could get in to get to the bait. This keeps pets and kids safe from accidentally ingesting it. Once the mice eat the bait, they go outside and live happily ever after far away from your house. Or they go back to their nest and die. Believe what you will, but either way, they no longer inhabit your dwelling space, and you don't have to dispose of their tiny sad mouse bodies. The bait does come loose in the bag, mixed in with the bait trap, so be careful opening it. I've placed the trap and bait in my basement where I usually have problems with mice, and so far haven't seen any new signs of mouse activity.
