I love it
It's slightly heavier than the cross-peen Hammer I had been using, and i find a rounding Hammer to be quite useful in my smithing work.It has instantly become my main Hammer.I should note that the approach to handle and wedges is decidedly mass-production, but I recently had the experience of a beautiful ash handle just split in my hand (really nobody's fault), so the fact that this one is holding up after about a month of daily use, is quite good enough for me.

Good product.
The quality if the hammer is good with an amazingly grippy handle. First use I was amazed at how much metal I was able to move with such a light hammer. Had difficulties with not leaving hammerbmarks in my sleep but that's because of me not being use to the flat side of the hammer. With practice I'm sure that will not be an issue. Overall I'm very pleased with the purchase. Shipping is the only thing I can complain about it took a month to get but still arrives within the time frame that was given.

Updated: Soft Metal
After Use Review: The hammer took a lot of damage, I do not think the metal was fully hardened correctly. I returned the hammer. I think this is a great beginner hammer for forging, its very light. I thought Id try it out for the price, but this is a no for me.Original Review Prior to Using: I...was pleasantly surprised. First off, I read a review that raised concerns about shipping on Amazon -many sellers on Amazon can give you the impression that your package will be delivered via Amazon's own trucks for 2-3 day Prime shipping, but some actually use USPS ground. This means that, even though Amazon's notifications might suggest a quick delivery, it could take 2-3 weeks for your package to arrive. The Amazon app can send conflicting messages, reinforcing this expectation, which can be deceptive. That wasn't my experience at all. I ordered this item, and it arrived at my door within 30 hours. The shipping was impressively fast and reliable, which was a pleasant surprise given the review I had read. The hammer itself is of excellent quality for the price. It has a nice shine and finish, and the handle is sturdy, though shorter than most—something I actually prefer. By contrast, I ordered a similar rounding hammer from Amazon, and it took two weeks to arrive (despite the promise of a 2-day delivery). The quality was disappointing: the handle was loose, the hammerheads had a rough finish, and it was only $6 cheaper than the one I received within 30 hours (see photo).Hammer on right was $58.99 (description: 36 oz Rounding Hammer Blacksmith Bladesmith Forge) and the hammer on the right was $64.99 - you can see the $6 difference

Wonderful hammer
This is an amazing buy in my opinion, the only issue I had was the handle was a little rough and had a coating I did not like but a quick sanding it was great.

Not properly heat treated
Hammer arrived with one of the faces chipped, lighter then announced (some difference is understandable, but this was a big difference when the weight incl. handle is off by 1/4 lbs).Chose to replace the item because, hell, everyone can have a bad day and make a mistake. Replacement process was smooth and swift.Replacement hammer was undamaged, but after 5min of blacksmithing (1/3"" stock...) there were visible damages as seen on the picture. Assumably the result of improper heat treatment. I chose to return the item. Too bad, it's a good looking hammer that lays well in the hand, 1 extra star for that.

VERY thick handle
The head is solid and works great, but the handle is roughly the size of the head and is difficult to wield. You WILL need to grind down the handle to make it better to handle.

Nice Hammer
I like the handle feel with this hammer. I disliked how long it took too receive the hammer.Overall I would rate this experience as 4 stars!
