Works great on Windows and Linux Desktops
I bought 2 of these adapters. 1 for my Windows 10 Pro desktop and 1 for my Proxmox server (Debian 12-based Linux). The adapter worked right away on my Windows 10 PC. I had to play around with bios settings on my Proxmox server (Disabled WAN Radio and Bluetooth). I attached heatsinks to the chips, but that probably wasn't necessary. I 3D printed a PCI bracket for my Windows PC and cut a hole in the IO shield for my server to mount the RJ45 connectors. I ran a 3-hour torture test to stress the adapters and they did not have any errors or slow down.
