We are installing a new kitchen and were looking for this style, contemporary handle. Our original purchase, which we returned, turned out to be made from tubing and "felt" cheap. These Alpine Hardware handles had the added feature of the oiled bronze look which my wife loved and they definitely feel solid.A lot of reviewers have noted that a high percentage of these had standoffs were not in alignment with each other which made installation a bit difficult...I have not yet found this to be the case but I have not been through all of them yet.What I have found to be a problem with these is the threads on the stand offs are all coated with either the applied black finish or they are heavily oxidized (0r both!) from what I will guess is a high temp process to give stainless steel the "bronze" look. A lot of folks have claimed here that it's the screws that are the problem but I don't see that at all. The problem is that the threads are so gunked up that the screws go in roughly 1/4" - 3/8" in and then bind up. This is what leads folks to believe it's the screws.I have been disassembling the handles and chasing the threads on about half of the handles so far and they go on the cabinet smooth as silk.It would serve the manufacturer well to modify their production process and add thread chasing as the last step before assembly and packaging and these would be 5 stars all the way! They could even charge a little more to offset the cost of the extra step and these would STILL be 5 star handles. If you don't mind the extra work, at $1.68/handle these are a steal. (25 pack price)

I ordered some cheaper pulls first but they were lightweight and hollow. The Alpine pulls were much heavier and better quality, similar to what you could find at Lowes or Home Depot but probably 1/3 of the price. Here are the 2 issues that kept me from giving a 5 star rating:1. They only had 3” and 5” sizes (screw spacing). I would have liked to have bought one size wider for my wider cabinets.2. The threads need a little tapping because the screws don’t engage well in most of them. Before trying to install them I would recommend running a proper tap into the pull mounting threads to clean them up. We screwed the mounting screws in first to try to do this. I’m wondering if it’s a difference between standard and metric threads.Other than that the Alpine pulls are very good quality and I would recommend them.

Third time is a charm……finally found the solid quality handles like the Amazon basics but in the Modern Gold color - not Champaign Gold or Brassy Gold! All 25 easily fit into our old cabinets (1987) we repainted. No screw or alignment issues at all! They look great on SW Accessible Beige. Now I just need 10 more for the bathrooms!

I needed to replace the handles on 25-year-old kitchen cabinets. The new handles make them look new and modern. They are beautifully constructed and finished. They are quite weighty and obviously very strong. Some people complain that the post spacing and thread tapping are variable. I did not have any problems with the fit of the 30 handles that I replaced although I had to drill out a few holes in the cabinets by using a slightly larger drill. One problem that some people might have with the thread tap is that they are tapped to the depth of standard-size cabinet doors and drawers. The pulls come with two pairs of machine screws to accommodate this variation. But the wood thickness of our drawers was relatively thin. Using the screws provided, I could not tighten them completely. The solution was to use the screws from the old pulls. That solved the problem.

Not perfect but very impressive for the money, these units are sturdy! I found the shorter shafts may not all be equally seated in the long bar, but they’re easy to tighten.

The quality for the price is excellent. Each pull was individually wrapped and came with 2 lengths of screws. Using in our camper but will purchase again for our home. Highly recommend.

We were worried about the reviews about them not being perfectly balanced but I actually think that worked in our favor. We used a hole guide but if I was off by a hair, it seemed the handles were forgiving. I was pleased and a nervous wreck drilling into my brand new cabinets. But I tried a few test areas on some cabinets but easily seen from the living room. Good idea because I accidentally drilled the bottom half of the floor cabinets, which should be on the top of those. I easily unscrewed the cabinet doors and flipped them, crisis averted. They are now on the top of the tall floor cabinets, as they should be. They are tricky to screw in just right and had several double thread making a difficult situation but as I got more practice it got easier. But due to some not being perfectly level, it caused more work screwing them in but not the end of the world. We've very happy and saved a lot by doing it ourselves.

These handles are very heavy and well made. They are not cheap. I was going to buy one through my cabinet dealer for $12 a piece and I decided to check Amazon and am very happy I did. These are nicer than the ones I was going to buy for $12.

Firstly arrived earlier than schedule date.These handles are absolutely pure quality.Ordered 24 and the box was a fair weight, so my first impression was good solid item here.Each handle is polythene sealed with 2 sets of screws at different lengths which is a nice thought from the manufacturer.The handles themselves are solid bar and well finished they are spot on with stated hole fixing centres.Absolutely over the moon with them and worth every penny.Thanks ever so much to the seller.

Handles are of good quality and finish, but bit heavy in my opinion. I was going to use it for the upper cabinets of my in built wardrobe and decided not to put it I think it's weight will over the period impact the hinges and the cabinet doors may tilt over time.For larger cabinet doors, this would be perfect.

Used to replace handles on a 15 year old kitchen. Easy to fit, really good finish to the surface and makes the kitchen look like new.

Great quality shame I had to order another 25 when I was only 4 short !Got 21 spare handles now !

Love these.Bought 25 to refresh my kitchen.Lovely quality.And well worth the money.Would reccomend highly.Dont buy cheap ones which are hollow
