These individual copper units are better for NVME SSDs to allow individual heat dissipation from controller and memory. Using a single large heat sink does heat transfer to cooler chips. Do not remove original NVME sticker while attaching, they're for warranty and heat management.

Personally, I recommend you add fans to help it cool better, but good quality heatsinks

WAY better than the stock heat sinks. They got some weight to them so I knew rhey were gonna be good before I opened them out of thr plastic. Perfect for my Pi5 with my Recalbox RGB JAMMA2 addon, since that has its own fan, and just needed a simple heatsink for the fan to blow on.

The last two orders DID NOT include the Raspberry Pi 5 CPU copper heatsinks (4 of them total). I supplied photos to tech support at “[email protected]”, and they were not helpful at all. These copper heatsinks are not cheap, and GeeekPi needs to make this right, not Amazon. These are usually reliable and the correct size. GeeekPi, PLEASE send the missing RPi 5 heatsinks (4 of them). Two of these shipments were WRONG, so please fix this with Amazon so this will not happen again! ***** Update ***** GeeekPi shipped a new package that was correct!

A very nice complete kit of heatsynks for the Raspberry Pi 5. I put all of these on the Pi 5 8Gb and have been running stress tests on it for several days at the time of authoring this review, and the hottest the internal sensors report is 60 degrees Celsius. They work very well. Note that I am also using a fan to move air in the case. These are copper colored, but don't appear to be pure copper, almost certainly an alloy.
