This doesn’t fit my Austin lx as advertised. There is a 3/8 gap in the center that tapers to the ends. Screws are not self tapping and no nuts to go on them. Also has several burs that cut my hand just handling it.

Stupid simple to install and brings a more uniform temperature to the inside of the grill. Put mine on a Pitt Boss 1000 series that needed it. All the Pitt Boss models should come from the factory with this piece but…

First, it comes with no instructions. Like, do the magnets face inward or outwards. Second, I got a small paper like cut from the edges. Need to use gloves or file down edges.

This fits the curve snugly and seems to block the heat from the temperature probe. I installed the bolts and seems to hold really well. I wasn't sure about the magnets but assuming they would work fine as well.

Product is magnetic and easily slides into place. Came with bolts but they seem to be unnecessary and didn’t use them.
