A nice introduction to calculus from basics to advanced

A great Calculus book
I learnt Calculus about 3 decades ago, and now things have kinda come full circle, as I bought this book for my son.Over the years, this book has earned a richly-deserved reputation for being one of the best introductory books on the subject, and is a staple in most American high school bags. It closely follows the US HS Calculus I, II and III syllabi, but is a comprehensive book that is a wonderful aid for anyone looking to master the fundamentals of Calculus, or even someone looking to write exams like the AP Calculus AB and BC tests (you will need to skip about a third of the book for Calc BC). There are tons of practice problems to solve after every lesson to test one's understanding.James Stewart was a very interesting man, and you can read about his legacy online, from his textbooks to his activism to the 'Integral House' he commissioned. This book is a rich testament to what he has left behind.

The book doesn't have color where needed. The print quality is also average. The contents of the book are top notch nevertheless.

One of the best book to master Calculus lucidly!!!
Although James Stewart is not a inventor of calculus, but I think that all of our calculus appetites will be satisfied with this beautiful and clear book written by him. He is one of the prominent exponent in the field of mathematics...This book clearly explains how it should be studied while learning calculus at beginning, it covers lots of topics which is essential for calculus courses,,This book will be best for self learning also, because it has great amount of solved and unsolved problems that allow us to sharp the skill more neatly.Overall if you want to invest in a book that not only helps you to learn calculus but also helps in solving real world problem, then I think it will be totally worth it!!Thank You!!
