Doctor Kirchner Natural Weed & Grass Killer (Quart) No Hormone Disrupting Chemicals

I hate to say this, because the seller is extremely responsive, but I hate to be taken advantage of. As soon as I opened the bottle I knew what it was immediately--vinegar and Dawn liquid. I have used in the past, and it does work, but you can find the recipe online--just look up homemade weed killer. The recipe I used added salt. Same thing--you can make yourself for under $3.00 per gallon. It does work, does kill weeds.

I was hyped after reading the reviews, so I bought 2 bottles. I have a huge rocked landscape, weeds grew early here in Colorado. I was dismayed because all of the reviews saw fast results. I saw no change after 11 hours. Slight wilting after 13 hours. To my happiness, complete brown and dying weeds and grass at the 16 hour!BTW, one review said that it was made with Dawn. I've used Dawn and mixed with 30% vinegar. Not only is the smell over powering but so are the suds! This has neither. The smell is a very light vinegar smell.

This stuff is great! I love that it is safer than Round Up and works so well. You need to use more than with RoundUp which is fine with me. The only challenge is that the end of the tube inside the bottle floats to the top and makes it hard to get the spray to work. I am trying to find something to weigh down the end. I put a picture here so you can see the difference between the green (untreated) with the brown (treated).

My husband and I purchased our first home in January and our backyard is HUGE and entirely covered in weeds. I've weeded yards before when there's a weed here and another there but I had no clue what to do when your entire yard is completely filled with weeds. We spent 3 full weekends pulling weeds and within a month the weeds grew back again! I want to plant vegetables in my backyard and so the weed killer at the store wasn't going to work for me. I have too many concerns about that stuff seeping into my soil, my vegetables, and then being ingested.Anyway- we used a weed wacker first and then sprayed the entire backyard. Within 24 hours- everything is dead or in the process or dying (larger plants). see for yourself!

This weed killer is unbelievable! I don't like using chemicals and thought I would try this because of the reviews. I have decorative stone throughout my property and have a bird feeder in back - well of course birds are not neat and scatter seeds which results in little sprouts all over the place. Still wanting to feed the birds but not wanting to use chemicals, I ordered this and used it for the first time this morning. The weeds and grass that was growing up in the stone are now brown and wilted! Living in FLA I have plenty of weeds on my property and loving to landscape, I found weeding time consuming and frustrating - pull it today, they come back tomorrow! The only remark I can make is I don't like the nozzle so I went to the Dollar Store and bought a spray bottle and just poured some of the product in this bottle. I will be an ongoing customer for sure and have already recommended this to my neighbors

okay I hardly ever write reviews and to be honest with you I was skeptical to use all natural weed killer and thought they reviews I was reading were fake. But I took a chance and bought this stuff. (Because I kind of felt guilty using the other stuff like Roundup due to it harming birds and everything else too)Back to the review, when I opened the box--- I had a letter from Rudy- the owner. He let me know about his product (which happens to be actually right down the road since I live in Florida too). Anyway blah blah blah I tried the product & just look at the photos!!! U will see it actually works faster than the hard chemicals. 24 hours later the weeds were dead / dying.Good stuff!ThxRudy!H Peck14 year Amazon junkie;)

Update: Awesome! Seems improved. Killed faster and stronger than last year. Pricey, but only alternative to chemical based. It works where others don’t and I’ve tried many! On my list of best products for family and environment. Thanks......A natural grass/weed killer that works for our organic household!! I’ve try so many brands and all have been a big waste of time and money.... until now. This brand worked great! I bought 5 gallon to really give it a try, assuming I’d have to repeat treatment many times to get results. Not so, 1st application killed even thin blade blue grass, which I consider the toughest challenge since it has so little surface area for the liquid to stick to. So impressed I immediately bought another 5 gallon jug.Like any other vinegar based product the smell will be noticeable for a day. But much preferable to the smell and toxicity of Roundup!Was also impressed at integrity of owner. UPS damaged shipping causing some of the liquid to spill. I reported it to owner and he sent me 2 gallons, no questions asked. Finally, I have a go to grass/weed killer!
