Improved note bends no end.
Bought these to replace the cheap and nasty metal trees on my Fender Jaguar. Fit straight on with no modification, and provide much smoother bends and no binding of the strings. A cheap and very worthwhile upgrade to any guitar with a flat neck.

Best string trees
Love these things, they go on all my guitars. Completely eliminates any binding issues you might get with traditional trees, and superior to roller designs in my opinion also.

Super smooth.
Balances perfectly the tension between the tuning post and the nut without undue friction and keeps any tuning issues down to a minimum. Bends and dives return smoothly to their original position. Definitely an improvement on the old squier trees that I had and that actually cut the string at the tuner side a couple of times when giving the Wang bar a thrashing. Why pay top bucks for rollers when these puppies work so well?

Massive improvement over stock Squier ones
Got these from amazon for a great price for my Squier Affinity tele and they are so much better than the stock string trees. If you can get them at a good price I highly recommend! I used the old black screws and they look great all in black.

Excellent string tree.
Made of self lubricating tusq material so won’t grab the string or abrade it like some metal string trees might. String height above head surface after fitting is about 5mm, about level with the hole in the tuner post so ideal for my guitar. Height can be reduced if desired as it’s a workable material. Screws supplied look good quality, I used a 5/32” twist drill bit to make a pilot hole into hard maple guitar head, essential to avoid risk of breaking the screw. Did the job, string leaves the nut at about 10 degree angle now. No catching in use. Worth the money? Well it does the job and for the reassurance alone that the screws are good quality it’s worth it as several reviews of cheaper brands and designs say the screw snapped! Then your in a whole world of pain if it shears off flush with the head. That maybe when people don’t drill the essential pilot hole so don’t skip this step if making a new screw hole. They do come as a pair for your money and from a reputable company, made in Canada so I think I made the right choice overall. The finish I got is the black one.

Such a worthwhile replacement for bent metal string trees
I don't understand why manufacturers still insist on using bent metal string trees on anything other than the very cheapest guitars. Installation is really straightforward - I used the screws which came with my old string trees, so as not to widen the hole in the headstock. The only slightly faffy part of installing them, is making sure they're straight up, so you don't inadvertently increase the friction on the string! The whole process took me under 10 minutes, and I recommend wholeheartedly - especially if you have a trem.

Stylish
They go very well with black tuners exactly what I wanted, but over priced but Canadians charge more than they deserve

I love these things and now all of my guitars have them
How can you not love these things. If you are into hot rodding your guitars, or like me, are on a budget and have to buy some lower end stuff and used stuff. I started out buying a really cheap guitar to haul to work to practice on my breaks and lunches etc. Then I set it up and did some fret work on it etc. and fell in love with it. I wasn't crazy about the cheap plastid nut, so i put a tusq xl nut in it and they threw the string trees at me as an add on. I said ok and added them to the cart. I know that they have made an awesome improvement as i put them on before changing the nut. They seriously richened up the tone and sustain for miles. After installing the XL nut (Make sure you read the descriptions on your string trees and nuts as the XL's are self-lubricating for life, the non Xl's are not). I find the non XL's come up a lot more frequently when searching for a good deal and they are ok, just not self lubricating. To finish it off, it I lube up the nuts and trees with some Super Vee Super Glide (look it up and buy some!!!!) What started out as a $65 guitar is now one of my favorites to play, and all the other ones now have tusq XL string trees,....the Tele, The Strat, The Lead I, etc. etc.

Also 2x Kaufempfehlung.
