Happy with results
love this glaze. I’d never heard of this brand and was reluctant to try it but so far it’s worked great on my Standard 608 brown speckled clay! I’ve used it as an accent. The photo has poor lighting. i like the duller look. zit stayed where I put it and did not run. I used one heavy coat b

Product is as shown!!
This is a great product!! I’ve been making pottery for 30 years and this is one of the first of this type of product that is available. Be sure to use 4 coats! I fire to a cone 6 and it works beautifully! I do wish the bottle had information on it as to if it’s overglaze compatible. But other than that is been great.

It’s finicky but works better than anything else I’ve tried
It still gets 5 stars because you can’t knock a metallic glaze for being finicky because they all are. That being said this still performed better than any other mid/high fire alternatives that I’ve tried like amaco’s saturation gold at cone 6. I’ve just started playing with it on some test tiles and it does seem to prefer being fired flat instead of vertically. My brush strokes were extremely consistent on the vertical test tile but I got a mix of bronze and gold after doing 4 coats. My brushing was less consistent on the star and I think I did about 3 coats but it came out a better gold regardless of the thin spots.I think the quality is good- especially for the cost but I’d be lying if I said this glaze is going to be easy to use. I think it’s going to take a lot of trial and error and testing to master other folks amazing results but all in all I’m very excited to have found it and I’m excited to keep playing with it!

I’ve used it twice
The first time I put on 4 thin coats, and it came out brown at cone 6. I put on 3 thick coats at cone 6 and it came out gold shiny but had raised bumps. On a small piece I think it would be fine
