Low Price, High Quality
I bought this because of the low price. What I really wanted was about three times more expensive but was out of stock for at least a month. I purchased this just to get me by for my new espresso machine, but ended up keeping it because it is really really nice. I can’t believe I was going to spend three times more for something else.It looks lovely, but most importantly gets the job done easily and effectively. Excellent build quality and it even comes with spare tongs, if you ever may need it. It also matches my silver Breville machine perfectly.

Great Tool!
I just found out about these WDT tools recently, even though I've been making my own home cappuccinos on a Rancilio Silvia for 19 years. It's a great little tool, and I believe I can taste a difference in using it. After reading up on them, how they work and general info about them, I decided I wanted one with very fine .35 pins, and a good quality metal with a stand-up case rather that one of the larger stands that holds the device in a suspended position. This one is a heavy, solid metal and the pins are very fine. You can insert 10 pins or fewer if you wish, but I put in all 10 and it works well that way. In addition, included is a little tube that holds 10 extra pins to use as replacement pins when/if needed. The pins are so very fine they could obviously break easily, yet if you are careful I doubt they will break. But it's nice to have replacements. This holder has a brush of some sort tucked into the bottom, and when you put the top part back into the holder after use the brushes clean off any coffee that may be clinging to the pins. After using the device the first time, I noticed that almost no coffee was clinging to the pins anyway so the brush won't have a lot of work to do. The brush itself can also be removed if you want to clean it at some point or shake off any coffee grounds that have collected on the bristles. I like the black color, and it's a small and sleek device that doesn't take much room to store. I think it's a worthwhile purchase if you are a serious espresso maker, and this device is clearly of very high quality. Recommended!

Simple but Effective
For the price, this is a solid WDT. The needles are a little flimsy and the tool doesn't exactly fit in the base very well because it's a little loose, but overall it's worth adding to your barista setup.

Solid wdt tool with built in cleaning brush.
Works well. You can use all the pins or pick and choose how many. If you use them all, they are a little less effective and you need more of a stabbing motion than just swirling. Easy to change them out, easy to clean, and extras if you need them. The brush is nice and cleans fines but over time you get a bit of oil build up and need to wipe them with a bit more pressure than just the brush.I see no need to rush into any other option. I might pick up a wdt that has flared out pins at some point as that supposedly helps avoid the need of the stabbing motion but this is still a great option until then.

Works well. A little busy.
Overall very functional and useful design. Still getting used to the sponge receptacle. Is a little hard to manage with one hand if trying to multitask. And for those inflicted with OCD, it can be frustrating trying to get it sitting flush as the needles will tend to get sideways when set back in the holder.

Great items
Cleaning was a breeze. And assembly was super simple. The interior brush head is thick which is exactly what I wanted. The needles comes out clean everytime. It didn't pick up any leftover coffee grinds, which may alter the taste of your new espresso grinds if not cleaned properly. In terms of needle storage, your given a plastic tub to hold your extra needles

Moderate taste and flavor improvement
TL;DR it does improve taste and flavor in a noticeable way, though not as significant as, say good vs stale beans. The needles, which you assemble yourself quite easily, stick into a 'pad', which is actually a brush that can come out of the bottom. There are spare needles. I decided to buy this instead of trying to build my own, due to the needles thickness, which is better for breaking up clumps. The device is comfortable to use and feels well-done.Comparing the use of the tool to using the handle of a teaspoon to mix the grounds instead, there's definitely an improvement in flavor. Using the tool adds a few more seconds to the process. I usually clean the needles with two fingers, so there's no additional eventual cleaning needed. The device is small and is easy to store. It is at a reasonable price, compared with a do-it-yourself model, which would not get the proper needle thickness.
