Its not waterproof so can put it in a ziplock bag with the area u need to use in case of rain.Also has a downloadable map for your phone which is good

As usuall, clear, detailed, and accurate, the best thing is the download that you can route plan on and will show you where you are, if you have a mobile signal and get list, true google maps does this but not to the detail of walking and cycling routes
