It was very easy to put together. It claims to be tempered glass able to hold 25lbs. I have a 20lb statue on the top shelf and it holds great.

Looks nice for the cost

Was a bit disappointed when we assembled the item. Visible screws are silver when they should be painted gold to match the item. I needed it so did not wanted to return it and ended up painting them since they were visible. Other than that like the shelve.
