This was just right. Just the right size for a smaller space. Very pleased with it.

This would work great for a kiddy step stool! So if that is what you are looking at it for it will work well and you shouldn't let my review get to you. It is creaky at its upper weight limit, and doesn't feel entirely steady, maybe I didn't get it together right?YMMV but I wouldn't get this again for an adult.

I would not trust this as a step stool. This is more of a very very low sitting stool. I currently am using it as a stand for a house plant because I don't feel comfortable at all standing on it. The base is not wide enough for that use to be a consideration.

this stool is absolutely perfect for my beautiful peace lily! I prefer my plant off of my wood floors and this did the job for my. Well made and sturdy! Highly recommend!!!

This item arrived very quickly. It was packaged great with no damage. This stool is made very well. I would say that it is somewhat heavy duty in a way. It’s very solid it’s very sturdy. It was built to last. It did come with stickers to put on the bottom of the legs, but I could not get them to stick really well because it’s on carpet so I put them on the bottom of the chair for right now. Just so I wouldn’t lose them. I am extremely happy with it and if anyone were in the market for a small stool like this, I would highly recommend this one. This item deserves five stars.

I love my little wooden footstool. It totally exceeded my expectations and now I'm planning on ordering a second as a gift for a family member. As someone who is usually wary of ordering furnishings online, I was pleasantly surprised with this stool. It was fast and super-easy to assemble. Not only does the wood feel strong and solid, the hardware (already fastened to the seat and legs) was far beyond the quality of what you usually see with this kind of item. A stud-screw was sunk far into each leg...with absolutely no sign of "give" or wobble at all. Each of the 4 legs attach to a plates that are fastened to the bottom side of the stool with 4 large wood screws each.As soon as I assembled it, I parked my 180 lb. butt on it to test it out. There was no movement, wobble, or sounds at all. This encouraged me enough to stand on it to change an overhead light bulb...and again, no issues at all. I definitely recommend this for anyone in need of a foot stool that can be used to stand on, sit on, use as a small table, child's seat, etc...
