Man Cave 2.0 looks cool now
Having switched to "Work from Home", I needed a desk that would be comfortable to sit at for long periods and as I already had their other corner desk (well, my son does) knew that this would be a very suitable.Whilst this is my WFH desk, it is also my Man Cave Gaming desk too, with additional LED lighting added.I did manage to put this together on my own, but there were times where having 2 people would have made things a bit easier. It is also very heavy. One of the screws in the pack had not been manufactured properly but I used their web-chat facility and the agent was exceptionally helpful and I had a replacement within 3 days .. (actually the whole fittings kit)The "Oak Effect" is actually quite a Light Oak, bordering on Beech but the 3 individual sections are fully matched.Whilst the desk is reversible, the grain of the veneer is such that it is expected to have the drawers on the right and the grain all runs the same way, but I have them on the left so the grain of the corner section is 90 degrees to the "wing" sectionsPros- Good Height- Solid construction (metal bracing and legs)- Reversability- Great customer service- Great price- OK depth (see Cons)Cons- Depth is OK but would be nice if it had a keyboard pull-out like their other desk- Some of the screw holes are slightly off so need a bit of effort to get aligned and screwed in- Maybe some cable holes would be nice

Really good value desk
I ordered this on 19th March 2020 and it was delivered on the 24th March 2020. Work had closed the office due to COVID-19 and I was working from home, unfortunately I had suffered a bit of a malfunction with my previous desk so this was in the nature of an emergency purchase. Initial construction had to be in the spare room. This arrived as a flat-pack in two packages, the parts were well wrapped and there was no damage. Construction took me a couple of sessions in the evening after work. I found the drawer unit to be very fiddly, I have arthritis in my hands and RSI in my right wrist which didn't help. Once constructed the drawer unit is really sturdy, which it needs to be as it is the "third leg" that supports the desk unit. Assembling the desk unit was much quicker and easier.I chose this desk as I wanted the option of having the drawer unit on the left or right and it was considerably cheaper than other desks that were available at the time. The desk surface comes in 3 pieces, so it has two joins and the grain of one part runs at 90 degrees to the other two. I assume this is to cater for the left/right choice and to keep the size of the packages as small as possible. This is not readily apparent in the photos. Personally I don't mind this. The drawer unit has a locking mechanism which was missing from my order. A quick email exchange sorted this out and I had the missing parts a few days later.Since the initial build I have deconstructed, moved and rebuilt the desk in my office room. This was a reasonably easy job and only took a couple of hours.Overall I am very pleased with desk and the customer service that I received. You can see from the photo that it is large enough to take my personal tower and two work laptops, I also had a personal Chromebook nestled between my tower and monitor!

Ignore the previous comments about the instruction manual being bad as its pretty straight forward and some furniture I've ...
As with any flat pack furniture it takes awhile to put together but so long as you take your time (2-3 hours due to the amount of screws!) you will have a decent quality desk at the end of it. I found everything was much easier if you spread all the items out and just took your time about it.Ignore the previous comments about the instruction manual being bad as its pretty straight forward and some furniture I've done in the past is too detailed, I think they've got the balance right with this. Also be sure to check the pictures for the minor details as many parts look the same so you could end up with screwing something in the wrong place, and as with all this flat pack stuff your not meant to unscrew or move after its been made up.On that I can only give it a 4 as while its very sturdy now I feel that should I have to move and unscrew certain parts for transport, that stability would go and it could end up being useless. Also the bottom filing cabinet draw is not a standard A4 size so don't think you can throw your old file away and use this without cutting the files down a bit.

excellent workspace
The dark walnut colour is lovely, desk is really good quality and feel excellent value for money. The depth of the desk means I can now get my big monitor in the corner and all typical desk bits and bobs around with more than enough space still to work and spread out.Instructions were numbered and setout in order so as long as you follow it it assembles accordingly.

Very sturdy corner office desk
***Would recommend an electric driver with angled/flexi head for optimal easy of assembly.Although two people are recommended to put this desk together I managed this alone without any issues. The instructions are clear and proceed in an intuitive manner.I found some of the pilot holes were a little small, which could make life difficult if you’re using only the manual tools provided. Some of the holes for the leg supports are in fairly awkward positions to use an Allen key, though I had few issues with an angled head electric driver. My one gripe is that the three pieces of the desk to not meet up 100% smoothly, it’s only a couple of mm out, but it does somewhat spoil the overall finish of the desk. However one everything is in place and screwed down, the desk is very sturdy, and provides a nice large working surface.
