Makes installing rivet nuts a breeze! So fast and simple to use. Definitely easier than trying to use the grip style or squeeze handles. This is like winding a clock. I wish I'd bought this months earlier instead of killing my hands with the grips after installing the first of many rivet nuts. It all fits in in it's own carry case, which has a multitude of rivets, and the setting adapters. Great value for money, even for the occasional user.

This is a very different nutsert tool. If you have used a wishbone type of riveting tool, you'll have to learn a new way. This is a ratcheting tool, it works differently. Takes a bit of a learning curve, but easily learned. Test a rivet or two first on a blank piece of metal. Well built, heavy duty, tool itself is heavy. Nice thing is it can be used in tight places. Odd thing is the nose cone, has two opposing flats for a wrench to assist in removal, but no wrench included. All it needs a flat open end 20mm wrench, but they are not common. I did find a flat, short one online, but they should include one. Nice case, pinned hinges, has large area the for rivets. Would like to see the case with independent sections for the rivets instead of cellophane packs. There is storage in the lid for all the mandrels, very snug in their respective slots. Large, clear, size markings on the end of the mandrels.Instruction sheet could be written better, had to guess at a few things. The manual is 4 pages, with the last two being blank. They could include a chart on what drill size to use for each size of rivet included with the set, and thickness tolerances of the material being riveted to. The instructions indicate a scale on the tool, it took some very close looking to find a tiny scale, a decal that cannot not be seen while using, supposedly to help set the stroke of the tool. Really, you have to trust “feel” to get it set right. Yes, it can work with aluminum nutserts.Overall, good tool for the money, would recommend it to any mechanic & sheet metal worker.

What a great tool. I bought the other style before this, its a Y shape tool. That was way more difficult and hard to fit into tight spaces. But this style was a perfect. Made my install so easy and professional. Very fast shipping time.

Tool works well right out of the box. I’ve used it for multiple tasks - attaching electric radiator fans to a shroud, attaching fuse panel to body, etc. It’s very easy to use the tool, and it works great in small spaces. Well worth the money and glad I have it for future projects.

Original review was operator error on my part. Had to get the center section unstuck, after that went to work on getting a rivet into a tight spot in an engine bay. Wat better design for tight spaces vs the 'bolt cutter' style ones

Works perfectly as intended it's just a slight learning curve on how to use it properly the instructions are okay but really not clear enough when using the tool. I looked on YouTube and found someone that explained it much simpler which made using the tool very easy compared to the instructions included.

The media could not be loaded. Nut handle on mandrel housing broke in half on first use...no options for any help with customer service. I purchased it prior to a project so the 1st use was after return window closed. I just want/need this defective part replaced but there are absolutely NO customer service help options for my issue. Nice tool but if parts break upon 1st use...and you have no way to get parts or service..ITS USELESS!
