Thanks to grand-kids I had a couple of old cabinets which used skeleton (aka barrel keys) that became missing. Many of today's young locksmith's have no clue about them. With the set I was able to open all three cabinets which were missing keys. Even though I ended up with many keys I didn't use, it was still much cheaper than a locksmith.

Years ago I had a cabinet-maker friend make a colonial style secretary desk for us. He used hardware from Ball and Ball, and wouldn't you know the skeleton key snapped. Ball and Ball wanted too much (my opinion) for a replacement key, so I took a chance and bought this set for a fraction of the cost. Yep....one of them worked great! Problem solved! I'll sell the other keys at our yard sale next summer and make money!

I have an antique Governor Winthrop mahogany secretary desk that was my grandmother's, but the key to the cabinet and the flip-down desk was missing. This key set had a key that fit perfectly! I really don't need all the others, but I just didn't want to buy multiple from the antique store just to find the right one. Buying this set was cheaper than going through all of that. I'm pretty sure there's a key in this set that will fit neatly anything.

I bought this set of keys in attempts to open an antique china curio cabinet. I tried every key and none was working, but I then discovered that a portion of the old key had broken off in the lock. I was able to remove it with small tools. I tried all the keys again to no avail. Then I texted my husband that I none worked and he suggested the locked may be frozen and to try using some WD40. The WD40 plus the right key from the box opened the lock. I tell this story because I would have given up and hired a locksmith but for trying the WD40. I am happy with these keys. As a bonus, I found a key for an antique secretary we own. We have the original key, but now we have a spare. This was a relatively inexpensive kit that allowed us to open the cabinet without a locksmith, hence a good value.

A quality and effective product for the locksmith

Keys comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes…. But NO size to fit inside my jewelry box. I had to remove the face off of my jewelry box first and tried using each key that was inside the box. Nothing worked, what did work was my small flathead screw driver smh AND TO TOP IT OFF I FINALLY FOUND MY ACTUAL KEY after all the stress.

I order to hopefully find a key for my antique secretary desk. I was lucky and 2 of the keys worked. Great selection and gorgeous keys

We moved back in 2020 to an 1949 house, with its inside doors using mortise locks. Long story short, I never bother getting keys for them cause it’s just me and my wife, we don’t have kids at home yet, but we do get family guest here and there, and last thanksgiving we had a “situation” with the bath door, so I decide to finaky fix the issue. I haven’t seen this locks since last time I went to my grammas, I didn’t k ow shot about them, so in order to find it’s key, I took it apart an start to Google the images to get clue, which I did, and than I started to compare the pics I have of the lock with some skeleton keys to finaly realize which shape I should get, and I get it right on the first bet, bought 2 pairs of same style but slightly different head (with and without the notch) and voila, I’m using them all and I got keys for the most important doors in the house. This seller is also amazing, I just realize after my buy that they know this might not work for you and they don’t mind you try and return them if they don’t fit, this is awesome for those who can’t identify what key to buy. I recommend the key and the seller to anyone, great deal.

I own a 1909 church as a home and have been able to use these to lock and unlock doors and cabinets where the keys have been lost for generations! From dressers to china cabinets to interior and exterior doors.

I have to say I was skeptical. I didn't honestly expect this to work. But it did. After months of trying I finally got this beautiful cabinet open. Highly recommend these keys - they look fantastic too!

Worked as advertised

The keys are cheap quality but I suppose reflected in the price… unfortunately didn’t fit , I suppose they are just generic keys. Not great finish ….
