Quality Where It Counts
I normally don't have time to write too many detailed reviews, but I thought this product deserves one. Let me preface by saying that I am a doctor and not an electronic technician so that what I am saying is really coming from a non-technical consumer's standpoint. We have an array of twenty-five surveillance cameras. As you would expect, video and power leads from these cameras to the DVR's must connect well to have the proper functioning of the cameras. This product helped provide the essential power to my cameras better than any other of its kind. I can only contribute this to the quality of the copper and insulation. Just the feel and thickness of the wires is so much better than others I have previously used. My cable and wire strippers worked flawlessly--the black and red leads were easy to strip with no cut strands and were very easy to solder into the RG59 cable power line. Buy this product and I feel you will surely agree with me.

You can't get better.
These are far nicer than connectors you find on most appliances, boards, whatever. Heavy duty, excellent fit, excellent mould, copper, connections, retention, everything. Top quality.

Made My Job Easier And Neater in Appearance
I had purchased a second security camera system for my home. (First system was a POE,...I got tired of having address problems) This second system uses a coax/power (Siamese) for true CCTV system. This second system uses several 4K cameras and 120 ft runs of cable. It was easy enough to install the cameras and hook up the cable directly to the cameras, but who wants to have a dozen plugs into wall outlets or a multi-strip? Or has power near each camera? So I purchased a InstallerCCTV 18 Output 29 Amp 12V DC CCTV Distributed Power Supply Box. This made this installation simple and neat. I installed the power box right next to the DVR. Had all coax cables run into the DVR. Then rather than cut and strip the power end of the Siamese cable,....I simply plugged in these pigtails to the cable and hooked up the pigtails to the power supply. This gave me a professional install appearance. Every cable I used worked perfectly. (I did only use about half of the cables and put the other half in the power supply box. And I only used the half needed for the conversion on the DVR side of the Siamese cable) The time and appearance of these cables made them well worth the money to me.

Top-Quality Cables – Perfect for Any Electrical Project!
I recently purchased these DC power pigtail cables, and I am extremely impressed with their quality. The 18AWG copper strands are thick and durable, providing a reliable power connection. The male and female barrel connectors fit perfectly, and the 2.1mm x 5.5mm size is just right for my projects. I also appreciate that the package includes 20 pairs of cables, giving me plenty for future use. Overall, these cables have exceeded my expectations and have become an essential part of my electrical projects. Highly recommended!

Plenty of wire with these connectors
Bought these for connecting led light strings to power supply. I needed a means to disconnect the led strings and these pigtail connectors looked like a great solution. In fact they have worked very well - my biggest problem was they have so much wire length that I spent a good bit of time trimming them down so I didn't have lots of wire everywhere!Other than that the connectors work perfectly, strong solid connection and they will disconnect with a firm pull. Little to no power lose with these cables/connectors.The only problem I did have was when I was pulling a couple of the wires apart to get to the correct length I had the inner copper wire exposed during the process. Fortunately I saw it while separating the wires and it was on the part I was going to cut off so didn't impact my application. So if you need to split the pair of wires I recommend doing so slowly and carefully to avoid this happening to you.Otherwise, a great buy for my electronics projects, I've already used 8 of the sets leaving me a few more for the next projects.

Real stranded copper and high quality connectors. The other connectors were very few strands and 24ga wiring. Plus the materials were just super cheap. Im willing to bet would be a failure point on any <2amp connection. The jackets are still PVC but fairly thick and seem to take heat from soldering quite well. These are the best I have found for charging and power delivery situations.Hope this helps. Happy modding.

Fraudulent Product - NOT 18 AWG
The other review from Canada is correct. I can confirm these are not 18 AWG … they are at most 22 AWG … and only 20 strands. Not suitable for 5A … likely dangerous!

these are barely 26AWG
Item is advertised as 18AWG, even goes as far as to say "Real 18AWG", these are barely 26AWG, and would melt with 5A of current. Absolute Garbage.
