Saline for nebulisers not eyes
There is much to learn about saline solution that most people do not know. Once you start to use a nebuliser, however, (or to help someone else to do so) you quickly understand that all saline is not made equal and this 3% Hypertonic solution is one type often associated with nebuliser use for inhalation into the lungs. Do not put them in your eyes. The saline for your eyes is 0.9% strength, which is on a par with the usual saltiness of the body.I like that these capsules of saline are individual sized which makes their use simple, whether you are using them on their own or with added prescribed medication. They are easy to take on holiday or to use with hand-held nebulisers; they might also be a good idea for someone just getting to grips with a larger size home nebuliser as there can be a lot to remember on how to use.One of the pros of these individual pods is that it is guaranteed to be sterile until opened so depending on the user and the environment this could be very important. Although you can buy larger bottles of saline, obviously they don't last forever once opened, so there may be wastage, and you must be careful the saline or dropper does not get contaminated. The last thing you want is a bacterial infection on the lungs if you already have lung problems. At the time of writing these 25 saline pods cost £27.68 - that's more thank £1 each. And you may need to nebulise on a regular basis. So the price adds up quickly. And it can't possibly cost this to make this item, which is frustrating. That said, the price appears to be around a market average. As I said I think these would work well for occasional use, flare-ups, or travel, but you may want to look how you can organise a contamination free supply from a larger bottle etc if you need to use every day etc.One additional thing, doctors I've spoken to are on the fence at best about nebuliser use although I see their use is much more popular in the America, for example. Please do speak to a medical professional before use, to make sure it is appropriate for you.

Very expensive compared to alternatives. Convenient enough for travel.
I got these to use with my nebuliser. I was happy enough with how they were packaged - in a small box, well labelled, and with large twist-tops for convenient use. They come in bundles of 5 vials (5 lots total, 25 units total) which makes it easy to take a few with you and keep them all together, or break them apart for easier storage. They do the job exactly as you'd expect for a 3% solution... It's just much more expensive than other alternatives on the platform, for same same product. For the price at the time of review (£20+) I cannot recommend this item. If you need it in a pinch, they'll work fine, but if you're in no rush, you should shop around...

Good quality though pricey
I felt a little bit of shortness of breath today and decided to give it a try. I feel that my symptoms improved a bit so I am happy in this regard. I can't comment on effectiveness of this product in comparison to saline solutions in different concentrations as I don't use them a lot. It is worth noting that the effectiveness of any solution will be also determined by the quality of the nebulizing machine as they are not all the same. The vials are easy to open and the solution is of good quality with no unnecessary additives.Good product however it appears to be quite pricy so I am not 100% sure if I would be back to buy it again.

Expensive
The saline I normally get is out of stock, so I figured I'd give this a try. It comes wel packaged, as you'd expect, and the vials are five lots of five, and come with the normal twist of cap.As a 3% hypertonic solution, it works as one would expect, so there are no problems on that front. It says on the box and in the description that the vials are 0.17 fl oz, which is 5 ml, which is a good size, I feel. Many are 2.5 ml, but I prefer 4 ml or 5 ml, so this was a plus point for these.I just felt that at the price point, they were expensive. It is actually working out at over £1 per vial, which is a lot.
