Tsuka-ito is the wrapping of the tsuka, traditionally silk but today more often cotton and sometimes, leather. A sageo (Ͼw or Ϥ²¾w) is a hanging cord made of silk, cotton or leather that is passed through the hole in the kurigata (ÀõÐÎ) of a Japanese sword's saya. There are a number of different methods for wrapping and tying the sageo on the saya for display purposes. In some schools of Iaid¨, the sageo is tied to the hakama when practicing.

Great feel for your sword grip.
I used this to wrap the handle of my foam wakizashi, and the result looks and feels great! Very comfortable and definitely helps me keep a secure grip on my weapon. Very important in LARP!

Très bien.
Bonne qualité sans aucun défaut. Assez long pour faire deux sageo pour le saya. Souple et facile à manipuler particulièrement lors du reiho.

Good product
A good product in my opinion. I wrapped a wakizashi & bokken with this material and both turned out pretty good. Inexpensive way to rewrap a worn out handle and the shipping was very fast.

Looks great. Learn some wraps before you start. I wrapped a walking stick. Love it.
